The Three Amigos slot machine by Ainsworth is an interesting game where for a low bet, you have the opportunity to win large progressives! It's also a bit confusing at first, but ultimately a fun game once you understand what's going on. The first thing to understand is that the Amigo symbols pay mixed, and Progressives are awarded at max bet by completely filling the screen with the stacked Amigo symbols. If you bet less than max, you are awarded a "Bonus Prize" instead which would be a multiple of your bet. To help the cause, landing full stacks of Amigos in at least reels 1 and 2 award the "Respin Feature" which gives you one extra spin to fill the remaining reels. Progressives are awarded for completely filling 3, 4, or 5 reels for the Mini, Minor, or Major Progressives respectively. The Grand Progressive is awarded if you fill the screen with the same Amigo symbol! And if that wasn't a reward enough, if you're awarded the Grand, you'll also receive the Major, too! If you have less luck and only land reels 1 and 2, you receive the Amigo Bonus instead. During these features, you are not awarded line pays in addition to the other awards. The bonus is triggered by landing 3 or more Eagle Bonus symbols for 8 free games with the possibility for a retrigger. Upon trigger, 5 wheels spin with wheels 1, 3, and 5 providing the number of "Hat" symbols which will be guaranteed to be on those respective reels, although more could land. Hat symbols will always evaluate to the same symbol after each bonus spin. Wheels 2 and 4 will determine your maximum multiplier for those reels, respectively, up to 5x. But to be clear, it's the MAXIMUM you could get: you if you land a 5x multiplier, coin symbols for that particular reel will evaluate to 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x.
