Excellent location by Geneva Cornavin station.
The rooms are spare, but nice. I'd say they're somewhat like you'd find in a Japanese business hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and quite large for a twin. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good breakfast, not just the usual. Pain aux raisins and hardboiled eggs, plus salami (saussicon sec) and multiple kinds of cheese were available.
I'd definitely stay here again. It's a good deal for Geneva and the convenience can't be beat.
Value for money, with minor improvements needed.
Rooms are not so soundproof and some furniture needs replacement as it is visibly damaged. On the other hand all services are offered satisfactory, rooms are sharply clean personnel is very polite helpful . Breakfast is a pleasant surpise.
We enjoyed our stay very much at this friendly, economically priced hotel in the centre of Geneva. The room was clean and warm, the staff friendly and the breakfast varied. We were able to walk to the sights we wished to see, but were grateful for the free transport ticket for finding our way back when tired.
You get what you pay for. At a cheap price, I got a clean room with minimal amenities in a very expensive city. Be warned, it’s not a family-friendly neighborhood. Check out photos of the free, terrific breakfast!
Hotel is located almost perfectly between central station and lake. It's easy to walk to both. That's the good part of the location, the bad is the direct surroundings: Located directly beneath the red light district and quite noisy in the night.
The room (we had #34) are clean and had enough space. The bathroom could use a renovation but is still OK. The breakfast is also fine.
Long story short: Price/Quality relation is OK for Geneva.
Old fashioned rooms but clean and staff are helpful. The city tax is a little steeper here than at other hotels but still not much.
It is right next to the red light district if that bothers you find somewhere else.
