Great place for punkin chunkin! Will have to go back to check out the racetrack. I went a very long time ago and it was nice I don't know what kind of changes they've made. And I like that the Aurora Reservoir is just down the road

Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean facilities. Even without betting, a good option for an afternoon outing. Open May - August and we went on a weekday and the 1st race started at 1pm. Though the temp was in the mid 90s, track level viewing was very comfortable as a large area was shaded by the main building and the breeze was wonderful. Only drawback is the CASH ONLY for everything, from the entrance fee to the gift shop and NO receipt for the Race Program which was at $ 3/each. Not a problem really except when expenses need receipts for reimbursement. Otherwise, good and fun trip.

A fun outing, take the family for trackside viewing. The TVs in the table area are old dated CRT type so not much to look at. If you pay extra for a table don't expect the TV to add to the experience.

Total bummer! We usually go to the Ted's near the Denver airport and are always very happy. So when we decided to stop at the location in southland's we were sadly disappointed. When we walked in, there was no clear direction where to check in or any host in sight. We weren't sure if they were closed on a Saturday at 2pm for a private party because there was very little visable staff. After being the only 3 people standing around in the entry area for what felt like 15 min, not terribly long but absolutely awkward, finally, a very indifferent hostess sat us at our table. Veggies were chemically tasting, the steak and burger was ordered medium and were totally raw/rare. Kids chicken strips were overcooked. Hopefully the management can take our review and use it for some decent training and cooking so future guest will have a more pleasant experience. However, we will not be back.
