Can be lots of fun for a slot player
While I don't recommend making a special trip to Louisville just to visit this place, it is a very clean and friendly place for those who love slots. Ultimately, it is state laws (no table games) that hold them back from being "outstanding."
It is quite interesting how slot-like machines came to legally operate in the State of Kentucky where betting on games of chance are illegal. In order to protect the wealthy who are involved in horse racing and leave its massive profits unthreatened, all other forms of gambling based on chance are illegal. However, these slot-like machines that operate legally are far from a game of skill. Historical racing machines, as they are called, have all of your favorite games found at other casinos, and they look and operate just like regular slots (mostly). Every time you pull the handle or press the spin button on one of these historical racing machines, the outcome of the reels is actually based on a randomly selected horse race from the past. In fact, to meet the legal requirement, you can choose to see the race that particular spin was based on, including the jockey numbers with the top 3 finishing positions. So, as I said, interesting....
Overall, Derby City has a very clean, spacious, and enjoyable atmosphere. The machines are spread out, and the gaming floor offers an extra large sports bar with FanDuel betting, a cafe, a center bar, and an elegant steakhouse. This original location now has a fully non-smoking hotel attached, and Derby City Gaming now has a smaller second location downtown.

The gaming was great the time that I been, really interested in checking it out for a longer period of time was kinda in a hurry the time I went. Would love to get a stay at hotel and play .

Horrible gta
Spent over 800 and basically had a return of less the even 5 percent or so the entire game
