I was really impressed with this hotel given the price. The clientele lacked a little something, but overall the rooms were huge, and well-appointed. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but it was still really nice. It was a totally decent stop for the night given that we were stuck between Northern California and the Bay Area and there were very few other options.

Very nice. Make sure you don't sit on window seal with window open. You may fall through the screen to your death! Not built to uniform building codes standards. Very nice rooms and bathrooms. I will stay here again. Good food, and very nice staff.

Nice looking property but terrible terrible time in the casino. Dropped $200 in less than an hour playing average of $1 per spin. Tried several machines and all bad. Not one "win" above amount bet. Literally. I hate it when it goes like that. Just passing through so likely won't be back to try again.

New management has changed this facility for the better. Two years ago we tried this restaurant and were disappointed. 10 years ago it was an unmitigated disaster. Tonight made up for those prior days. Food was delicious and creative, server was attentive and the overall dining experience was beyond top flight for a small casino in a small town. Rivaled the legendary service of Station Casinos in Vegas. Decor is no longer tacky Indian casino, signage is bright and well executed, air filtration I the casino has smoking well vented, and staff is pleasant and engaged.
As transplants from Sacramento/Reno market and having served casinos as part of our business, we wanted to find a local replacement for the by gone days of Peppermill when they had a comfy lounge and fantastic eats to chill out with after work. Bear River just might have that.
We'll be back weekly with the how they can repeat the excellence.

This is one of mine and my husbands favorite places! Newly renowned...but was awesome even before...it is Beautiful! The restaurant is awesome! Yummy food and Beautiful view of the valley and river with the ocean on the horizon! Always looking forward to my next visit. Also...visit the Loleta Cheese Factory. Service is wonderful and cheese samples are yummy...can never go wrong with cheese!

Had a few drinks at the bar. The bartender we had was great. She was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were tasty. Especially the white gummy bear.

Well this time the food was great. I went for lunch and it was fantastic. I think they got a new.manager. Previous visits we're nightmares. I hope it stays. Down side is that they stopped my comps due to my previous negative reviews. My wife as well.
