Canterbury Park

Great place to have a night out. I enjoy watching the horse races and watching people watch horse races. Both are entertaining. Good food options here. Show up on Thursday's for $1 entry and selected discount food.

Canterbury Park

I have surprisingly never been to Canterbury Park in my old over 40 years living within 30 minutes. I went for the first time for a friend's work appreciation dinner. What a great idea! My friend received several tickets he was able to share which included to drink tickets and a barbecue style buffet dinner. The horse racing is fun and easy. It's just a bonus that my Vikings radio announcer is also the horse racing announcer! I learned that they have so many family events! There were lots of kids running around and having fun. The other friend I was with and I have already let our girlfriends know that this is our next girls night out.

Look at the picture, it speaks 1000 words. This place is the biggest scam ever. Not only do you pay to watch the races, but you also pay to sit in the seats that they mark reserved which are no different than the other seats that are free. Talk about the biggest shamble organization ever. Will not be visiting again. Certainly not a place for families or anybody. There must be some new rules that are being acted, it never used to be this way. I would certainly recommend going to Little six or running aces. Just look at the picture, the place is empty.

Card shufflers are rigged, I designed them. Only place I’ve seen where your dealer will be your pit boss, waiter, & occasionally horse jockey! Hand full of very cool guys, and gals. Day shift crew, stay away. Pit guys who don’t deal act as if it’s their parents business. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I pay most of the payroll and purchased new tables for them cause I challenged myself to beat my shuffling machine. I could not. They do not know who I am and neither will you. Good luck.

Canterbury Park

This has become a fun destination for multiple reasons across all ages. The horse races (and other animal races) are so much fun, and it doesn't take much of a bet to stay engaged. The card room is well managed, the food is good, and the happy hour specials are reasonable. There is a huge outdoor playground for kids and always something fun going on during race days.

Joel Sampson and I had a great time even with all the rain. Views of the track are great from both inside and out! There is a bar or food every 10 feet and everything we had was delicious. Enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia from the past 30 years. It was exciting to bet on the horses!

The horse racing is an absolute blast. There are plenty of kiosks to bet at and you can download their app and get from your phone. More than enough food and drink selection. And the voice of Paul Allen during the race is the cherry on top!

Canterbury Park

Fun place to go in the summer. I have gone here quite a few times with my Dad and it has been fun. From the races to the Cars and Coffee shows, it is always a good time. My wife and I have gone here for the fire work shows the last couple years as well!

Canterbury Park

Fun place for a few hours. Love horse racing is really neat even if you don't want to bet. They also have a casino with table games (haven't played so can't speak to the actual games) inside the sellers building. Decent food choices and prices aren't crazy expensive. You can bet on horses on your phone if you get signed up for their members card (free to sign up) at the info desk.
