My BFF came to visit from Kansas City and I thought it'd be fun to try the Emerald Princess Casino! Some of the reviews that people have written are true...but here's our 'take' on it! Yes, the boat is dated but we had a great time!! We went on Wednesday evening.. it wasn't super busy so the cigarette smoke was bearable. For $10 you can't go wrong .. we had a fabulous boat ride and a meal that included BBQ chicken or meatloaf, potatoes, beans, roll, salad, drink, and a late night snack! The staff was kind and attentive! Lisa, in the dining area, was the first person on board we interacted with, she was so kind and took the time to answer a ton of questions we presented her with. The upper deck was a great place to hang out to look at the beautiful scenery! We won some $$ and will add the Emerald Princess to our list of things to do on her next visit! Some things you need to know: you CAN wear sandals but if you wear flip flops you sign a waiver, I'm not a person that gets cold easily but for those that do, take a sweater as the air con works good there! You will be on a boat so some rocking movement is inevitable .. it wasn't bad tho!
