I've stayed at their Carolina Dunes property three times and I must say I am always satisfied. There is a pool connected with the property and the beach is right behind it. We also have access to other properties next door to Carolina Dunes. The reason I chose not to give 5 stars is because we were moved to a different room due to overbooking. That room was much older and definitely need some renovation/update.

This year is one we will definitely remember! First day we here we noticed there was not padding under carpet, a little bit later the maintenance guy came and laid the padding. He was very nice and kept apologizing to us for it not being done. He called the front desk and he got us tickets for breakfast the next day for the inconvenience. The very next day we went to the pool and came up for lunch and there was a guy in our room. He said "he was stocking the toilet paper". So we asked him to look at the flood because the air conditioning was leaking. This guy then goes over and ripped up all the carpet, said to take a picture and go to the front desk. He then leaves, we were a little confused about all this. We decided to look at our bags and noticed the guy stole money out of our bags. My boyfriend went to the front desk and told them we wanted moved and money was stolen. The lady at the front desk told us we would be moved and they aren't responsible for stolen items. There was a knock at the door and another maintenance guy came in with a work order, which he was very nice. I was asking him and telling him about this guys, come to find out the guy in our room wasn't even a employee!! I called and talked to the manager and 2 managers came over took picture of the carpet the guy ripped up and said they would call and make a report with the police that's the last we heard anything! They also ran a report of who used a key card to get in the room. We figured the guy got into our because the door didn't shut right and after the housekeeper left the door didn't close all the way. We did move rooms and the new room the door has the same problem. We have asked at the front desk if they ever found anything out and nobody knows anything. It's pretty that we never heard a sorry or anything! Definitely won't be returning to this resort!!!

Nice rooms and balconies. We are staying in a king efficiency, oceanfront. The balcony is huge, it feels like I am right on the beach, minus the sand. I am not a huge fan of the pool or hot tub though. It is extremely busy during the times it is open. I think it is time to expand the pool area.

Room was nicely remodeled, clean and spacious. Parking was easy in the structure. The grounds themselves could use some updating. It was busy, summertime will do that. The pools were okay, crowded and we had kids playing in the lazy river. The upstairs pool was underfilled. Beach is right there. Overall an okay stay, might stay again.

Caravelle Resort is located in Myrtle Beach. Its buildings are situated right along the beach coast for easy access. It's a 5-minute walk to get there. They even have a pool area and a hot tub. The building also provides a fitness room, along with a arcade gaming room. The rooms are big, and the air conditioning is refreshing. The beds are easy to fall asleep on. Parking is sometimes difficult, since there were so many cars there, and the parking building is really compact, making it hard to turn. Overall, I never have encountered any problems with the service, other than parking, or the rooms.

The check in process was easy but they did not go over any of the extras in my reservations, I had bought breakfast and was supposed to get tickets, had to call up the next morning to get them.
Now the staff at the restaurant was AWESOME!!!!! Very outgoing and extremely helpful.........
We had a room at St. Clement, parking is tricky.....The little bar by the pool is great, good people!!!
Overall just not worth what we paid for, we will probably not come back here, but that's just my opinion.....

The elevator is a problem, I had to walk down 14 flights of steps and fell. I wish I could post a picture of my black and blues on my arm and I can’t even sleep on my bottom ( I had absolutely no drinks just the amount of sand on the steps). I would suggest a broom in each room ALWAYS!! The breakfast down stairs was very good and the bar tender at the bar was the best. My kids had a great time and it was very kid friendly !

Good view, service was very bad. We stayed at one of the caravelle buildings for our first trip to Myrtle beach. Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Upon checking in we found that our coffee pot was not working. Took 2.5 days for someone to finally look at it. When I complained I was told it’s “just a coffee pot” and that I could buy coffee at their restaurant. I left the manager a message and she never called me back! We stayed 4 nights and not one call back. I attempted to extend our stay and brought up the issues and was given a rate that was double the amount we paid originally! Wouldn’t recommend for first time visitors.

Third time we've stayed here in three trips to Myrtle Beach and each time brings us back...this last one the best of all. Remodeling and upgrades look nice and experience was fantastic at breakfast! Only wish you could come up with a way to police the pool area better, especially to prevent people using personal items to reserve pool chairs then leaving the pool area to come back later. It's a big problem keeping people from enjoying the pool.

We vacationed here with our three daughters (9, 8 and 6). For the cost of this hotel, it definitely sufficed. I have stayed at way nicer hotels but this one did the job just fine. It's right on the beach which we loved. The kid pools are smaller than I thought but the kids loved them. It never felt over crowded either. The food at the hotel was good! The food in the pool area and the grill was so reasonably priced. Next time we visit I would try another hotel but dont regret staying here.
The one negative I have is the housekeeping. They only cleaned our room once the whole week. I had to call the front desk to have someone come clean the room. They housekeeping seemed very lazy.
