Golden Gulch Casino

Go on slots still active and paying at this casino. I wish the old jail house was still open to the public, the poorest slots are down there with the convict demons of old.....I'm sure of it.

I mean I know you take a chance when you gamble but this place you don't even give it a chance to win anything that seems like I've never had any luck there and I hate to talk bad about it but that's true now the Monarch is a good place

Gold Country Casino Resort

My absolute FAVORITE casino! When I was in Reno last I just wished I was back home at Gold Country. I love their drink stations, although they recently changed their coffee setup and switched to liquid creamer. I wish they would go back to the way it was. I don't even drink their coffee now ;( sad.

Gold Country Casino Resort

As casinos go, this one has many other good offeri gs besides gambling. There are 3 restaurants, 2 event locations? for excellent music acts and other performances. There are frequent special holiday events. They host good romantic weekend and other packages with perks. The security is on top of everything so people better watch it to stay in line or risk being asked to leave, they even have cameras with very sharp sound pickup in all the parking lots and that could probably eavesdrop on your hotel rooms if they wished, though that is illegal, therefore?, unlikely. The hotel rooms are nice and big and clean and reasonably priced. You have self serve soda and coffee available 24/7 in the casino. There is a whole seperate building for bingo. The staff is pretty nice. They offer many perks and incentives to their customers. For a casino, its pretty cool. Not winning anything though.

I just booked my second stay at Circus Circus in 2 months. Last month, my family and I drove 200 miles to Vegas for a medical procedure, and had reservations at the Super 8 on Las Vegas Blvd. Upon arriving, they hit me with a $150 security deposit. I refused to pay it and demanded a refund. Many others in the lobby were also angry by this surprise deposit. Drove a couple blocks to Circus Circus and was able to book a room immediately online for the same price as Super 8, resort fee included. Roula, the wonderfully nice lady checking me in, gave me a handicap accessible room in the Motor Manor Lodge, a motel style building across the street. It was nice to be away from all the crowds and didn't have to walk endlessly like you usually have to in these casinos. I greatly appreciate their hospitality in making sure I was comfortable. The trip started off stressful but we got a room that was nice and clean with comfy beds. I need to have another procedure next week while my kids are on spring break, so we'll be staying there again. This time looking forward to enjoying more that this hotel has to offer.

Good crab buffet, very busy and hard to get on a machine and get drinks. Dealers were nice and rooted for players to win. Very fun place to gamble.

My wife and I chose to stay here because of all the positive buzz on the place. We had a cramped and dirty room. Leaky windows and no heat, wallpaper was peeling and we had roaches in our room. Told the people at the desk and all they could say was oh well that happens sometimes. Management did refund us for the room but I will never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone
