Great selection of machines, the downstairs is now smoke-free but you can still smoke upstairs. They have a full bar upstairs & downstairs but the downstairs seems to only open during busy hours/days. Blackjack is also an option, with the hours of Noon-4am. The dealers are pretty nice and have good personalities. I've won quite a bit here but also lost money - that's a casino though. I like it here ??

Very disappointing u will leave with empty wallet an pissed off. Dont ever see anyone winning only the same ole people all the time.

Council Bluffs location is about what I've come to expect from Ameristar. Nice gaming, friendly staff, and an overall good time. Patrons were plesent as well. Didn't stay in a room overnight but the amenities were nice inside the casino. 4 out of 5 stars.

Went for out anniversary and we're treated above and beyond what we expected! Staff for so friendly and helpful. Buffet was delicious and there was a great band at Amerisports. We had a great time!

Go to breakfast on Sunday and play a little. Just a nice alternative from buffets and big casinos.

This review is just based on the casino and not the hotel or the concerts. I am not a regular casino player at all but felt inclined to rate this place based on our observations as we passed through the casino to attend a concert. It is basically a senor center for smokers. Sick and sad is what I would call this casino. The decor is so outdated, unfriendly and dirty. We were shocked but not surprised with the lack of security to observe teenagers playing the slots. My son who is 16 years old found a group of teenagers playing the slots most of the evening with no security to be seen anywhere. Easy to observe since the place is full of smoking seniors.
The place was busy probably because it was a Saturday night. I can't think of anything positive to list about this Casino.
