Awesome Ship
This was my fourth Virgin cruise. Wonderful ship with awesome crew. The casino is small but what I always notice is the casino is never really busy so real gamblers are able to enjoy the table and slot games. You just have to tolerate a few happy sailors that want to enjoy the thrill of playing for a few minutes. Definitely will be booking again.

Virgin Voyages Casino launches Sea Roller Rewards Program

Virgin Voyages Casino has recently released its Sea Rollers Rewards Program! URComped CEO and Co-Founder, Craig Shacklett, sits with Virgin Voyages' Manager of Casino Business Development, Leah Gregori, to get some answers to commonly asked questions as well as dive into the brand new casino program, Sea Roller Rewards, and how it works. (This interview was originally posted on 5/30/2024).

Your earning cycle operates on an annual basis (May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025). You can earn 1 point for every $5 wagered on a slot machine, $10 wagered on video poker. For table games, points are based on average bet, hands played, and game type. You have 12 months to earn tier status, followed by another 12 months to sail with your status perks. Once you've earned enough points to achieve your status tier, you retain that status until the end of the following status year.

Receive access to your current tier benefits and the chance to level up on each voyage throughout this earning cycle.
*Virgin Voyages, as of now, will NOT be doing a "status match" program to match other cruise lines' casino programs.

How do players find out how many points they have on Virgin Voyages?
They can ask the casino host or Sailor Services while onboard or you can call Sailor Services after your trip.

Is there a portal for Sea Roller Rewards?
Not yet, but Virgin Voyages is working on this. All sailors will be able to access, check their points, and see available offers. There is no set date when it will launch.

Are URComped players still able to receive free drinks and waived fees while playing in the casino on their first trip?
Yes! Virgin loves URComped players and URComped players can expect these benefits until at least May 2025.

What is coming next for Virgin Voyages casino?
Virgin Voyages is introducing its first High-Limit room on the Valiant Lady! This new addition, separate from the main casino, will feature five table games and twenty of your favorite slot machines. The space will also offer beverage service and additional gaming areas. The High-Limit room is set to debut on the Valiant Lady's first sailing in October.

Are new itineraries coming for Virgin Voyages?
In September 2025, the Brilliant Lady will relocate to New York to embark on Canada and Bermuda itineraries. Following this, she will move to Miami to complete Virgin's first Panama Canal crossing. Afterward, the plan is for her to operate cruises from Los Angeles for a period before transitioning to Alaska itineraries.

How many points should players aim to get on Virgin Voyages to get a complimentary cruise?
Virgin's onboard certificates are specifically designed for booking sea terrace cabins, or balconies because they make up 80% of their ships. If you accumulate 8,000 points, you will qualify for a sea terrace offer. However, even if you fall short of earning 8000 points, they have alternative offers in different cabin categories that may be available to you. You can also earn a complimentary cruise by reaching "Star" status or higher at 5,000+ points. This is an annual benefit, so it may not be available right away.

How do players book a complimentary cruise certificate from Virgin Voyages?
Players can book their earned certificates from Virgiin with their URComped Host or directly through Virgin. Even if you choose to book directly, your URComped host will still be credited. We work closely with Virgin and appreciate the opportunity to book your trip for you. Additionally, if you earn onboard certificates while playing, you can still utilize them by calling your URComped representative to book, ensuring the certificate is honored. Taxes and fees are required for all comp voyages. Taxes & fees range from $150-$200 per person depending on the itinerary and all bookings will cancel within 48hrs if payment hasn’t been made.

Will Virgin Voyages comp any onboard charges for players?
Virgin manages casino perks in a standard manner, assessing them based on your play. Onboard charges can be covered when your gaming activity justifies it, and the casino host is available to provide information on your eligibility. Additionally, they provide complimentary voyages during your cruise. As part of our program, you'll also receive regular emails, including quarterly and monthly updates, offering various tactical incentives. Feel free to inquire with Virgin's casino hosts about the benefits you qualify for.

What is the Daily Limit to Withdraw on Virgin Voyages? Can you set up a credit line or wire money?
Virgin's standard daily limit is $3,000, but they do have the flexibility to extend it up to $10,000 based on your play. Accessing cash for play is made convenient by tapping your wearable device at the gaming machine or table, allowing you to withdraw funds instantly. If $10,000 is still too low a limit Virgin offers a straightforward wire process. They don't currently offer credit lines. By completing a wire form and submitting a copy of your ID, Virgin can wire the funds promptly. If you happen to win, they ensure your winnings are returned to you within five business days.

My First Virgin Cruise
The ship, food, and entertainment are amazing! I will definitely sail with them again. The casino is not my favorite. It is small and not much variety. I found Rakin Bacon machines in the smoking room which paid good the first night. They tightened up after that. They have Dragon Link but they didn’t seem to pay anything big. There were some hand pays but not as many as I have seen one other ships. Thankfully I had one the first night.

NOT A CASINO SHIP
Give it 5 star for No kids. Give it 5 star for drinks in casino offer. Give it 5 stars for the Balcony Room. Give it 3 stars for the food. ( if you like steak, 5 stars) Give it 1 star for Casino. Give it 1 star to smoking gamblers. The casino is small. Small rows of same machines. No variety. If your a slot player, tight as the company name. Saw 1 jackpot the Whole Cruise. (Last day in smoking room $5k $8.80 bet on Bacon Pig machine). Smoking room has 4 video poker and 9 bacon pig machines. Expect winter gear, cold as Michigan in winter in there. Looks like the airport smoking rooms. Deck 16 has a smoking area. Metal chairs and benches, no cushions and everyone fights for shade. No bar close to it, random servers when they feel like it. Casino closes at 3am no matter what. Opens late morning 10, 11, noon. Closes at every port, regardless. There is a slot tournament , $25 to play. I didn't play. Shows- line forms in casino every eve. Blocks everyone in casino from moving around. Spent my large budget in 3 nights, which usually lasts me a whole trip on any other cruise. No Give back, really. Friend got a bonus on Dragon, 12.50 bet, got $19 total. The cruise ship itself caters to Healthy, Excercise, and Physically active people, not Casino, Drinker, Gamblers. I didn't have High Expectations, but I would rather try any other Cruise line and Deal with Children, then ever go one this ship again!
