The slot machines are tight at certain hours. It is very quiet during the week. There are more players on the weekends so it's not always busy, the only bad thing is the table games are only certain hours during the day and sometimes you don't have time to get to them. The staff are very polite and make you feel at home there's is a security guard that might touch your machine youre playing on but don't fret he's magical.
everyone was so nice and friendly ,. ive been 10 times my whole life and 4 of them has been lately.. sending me free money to spend and the machines are kept clean . jooin the vip club and getr great rooms free and free money...
Downsides: Basement level needs a refresh as it is clearly a former lounge turned into extra gaming space. This is a smaller barge casino with an attached hotel, so you will be missing some amenities.
Upsides: It does have above average amenities with a fine dining restaurant, a decent number of hotel rooms, a ferry it operates to Kentucky, and a golf course. Decent video poker in the basement. Overall theme of the casino is classic riverboat and it's pulled off really well at times. Reminds me of the Colorado Belle in Laughlin but not with the concern of impending failure.
The people who will best enjoy Rising Star are obviously those who are in the Greater Cincinnati area, but also those who enjoy low rolling on slots. Lots of older CRT screen video slots with low (.09-.20) minimums that you can play for ages.
