Sho-Ka-Wah Cafe

Okay that's a trap. The casino is boarded up and closed. It's situated way off the road in what is obviously in impoverished Indian Reservation. No sign warning that it was closed and nowhere to turn around with an RV rig, despite online reports that RVs were welcome there 24/7. might have been a nice stop when it was in operation but from the look of it it's been boarded up for a while in online blogs, reporting sites and others need to get the word that it is closed and basically with the parking lot barricaded off it is a dead end Road to Nowhere.

I normally stop here 4-6 times a month except the last two times it was closed. Food and drinks are decent, customer service always excellent.

This place use to be fun. They seem to have removed over 75% of their slot machines and closed their pizza joint. The last time I was there, the sign stated they didn’t open 247 anymore either. WTH? A casino with limited hours of operation??

Half the slots are out of commission because the casino is expanding. Call ahead to make sure you know what to expect. I played keno and did OK.

This place is rough. Bad food. It's small maybe 100 games and super dirty. Shoes stick to floor. Security guard is extremely agressive. I'm a lone woman and he made me feel real uncomfortable. He asked me why I was alone. Where was my husband. I told him; MY WIFE was home, she wasn't feeling well. SAVE your time and money. Not safe NOT CLEAN, Not good.

I am surprised this place is still open. I had not been there in a few years and what a difference. When you first walk through the door you walk into a big empty room. Then you head off to the right to go into another room where the games are. The place is nearly empty. Which is a good thing because only about two-thirds of the games are turned on. It is so sad. The last time I was there it was a thriving bustling Casino with an awesome Steakhouse.. I hope it comes back.
