If you want a DJ for your wedding and you live anywhere near the state of Indiana - stop looking. James and the folks at Lakeside Entertainment truly put on the best dance party. We had to extend our reception an additional 45 minutes because we couldn't pry our guests from the dance floor. James did a great job of playing what we really cared about and ignoring requests for songs we had put on the "do not play list." He worked well to offer suggestions and was great at keeping in touch before and during the ceremony to make sure we were happy. James is a great guy, offers a great value, and really makes your day special. USE HIM!!

James was wonderful to work with. He played for my daughter's wedding, played everything that was requested, and kept the dance floor rocking all night. He played "Rat Pack" music during dinner which was wonderfully relaxing.
We highly recommend James.

James is the perfect wedding DJ. James was professional, fun, completely understood what music we were looking for, and his work is all around 5 stars! He controlled the flow of the evening, reminding my husband and I when it was time for toasts, cake, first dance, etc. As the bride or groom, it is nearly impossible to keep track of time and pull yourself away from guests to keep the progression of events moving. James took care of all of that for us, while picking great songs! He's a top notch, price smart DJ!

We hired Lakeside Entertainment for our wedding on June 12th, 2016. We'd met with James several times before the wedding, provided him with songs we would like played and took suggestions for the songs we didn't know. James was excellent to work with throughout the entire planning process. He was quick to respond to our emails, on time for our meetings and pleasant to work with.
On the day of our wedding, he showed up early and had his equipment set up before any guests arrived. He had our playlists queued, microphones ready and was ready to go. Our music was played at exactly the right time throughout various points in our blended Eastern & Western wedding. Once the reception started, James really came to life. He was a fun DJ, got people on the dance floor and never missed a beat. Another BIG plus was he didn't mispronounce any of our wedding party's names. We couldn't have been happier with James on our special day.
