The waitress was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was dark, with lots of wood like a British pub which some people may like. The drinks weren't too expensive, but the place had only awful beer on tap. $5 to $6.50 is a lot for Coors Light and similarly terrible beer. Also, the back half of the place is a scary, SCARY casino. One needs to walk through the casino to get to the bathrooms and the armed thugs working in the casino all leer at passersby like they have itchy trigger fingers.
The line at the other brunch place we were going to go to was too long, and it was far too noisy anyway. We ended up here and I couldn't have been happier. Friendly people, great service, excellent Irish Coffee, and the special Eggs Benedict with pesto hollandaise was amazing! I'll be back.
Good place, not great. Parking can be a challenge if you get there late. A little gambling in the back rooms, large porch area (though not much of a view, unless traffic is your thing). The staff is usually attentive and friendly, though we've had occasional bad service. The food is more expensive than it really needs to be, but it's pretty good. Keep your eyes open when getting into/out of your car, the area is a thoroughfare for homeless.
This ppace has awesome food! Great hang out spot. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the servers can be a bit slow at times. However, this is a great place to go if you wanna hang out and have a leisurely meal. But if your in any type of rush, not a good choice!
Good place to go for a meal. The fish tacos are excellent. The food is very good mostly sandwiches and burgers but well made and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is friendly. You can watch sports on the many TV's around the bar. There is also a card room for those who choose to try their hand at cards.
