They could totally have 5 stars because there good tastes amazing. I mostly order takeout and every single time, they forget to tell me to grab chips. When you sit down they serve the chips to you on the plate but when you order take out, they're supposed to tell you to grab a bag of chips. They always forget and I always forget which is really annoying. They also forget to add condiments that I asked. Stuff like matters to me but the food is REALLY good. I'll still eat and order there but I'll probably be annoyed every single time with little mistakes.

The service, environment and the food.. all amazing! The dough guy, Mike, knows how to knead his dough because their pizzas are delicious! We had the Capicola Caprese which has prosciutto, artichoke hearts, red bell peppers and red onions (we added bacon).. which we devoured. I didn’t get a chance to take picture of the whole pizza but I took a close up pic of one of the slices. Definitely a place to visit in Rochester!

Great soup and salad. Tuna salad was nice as well. A little on the pricey side for what we got. Sesame ginger dressing was really good.

I do not get it... 14 dollars for strawberry salad with chicken .. That was the size of a cereal bowl.. I did get it to go, and watch the cook take my piece of chicken that was already cooked and put it in the microwave to heat it up... Question is when was that cooked.. watching people order bacon with there meals as the cook is grabbing it from a pile by the grease trap on the oven.. Then take it and put it in the microwave above the oven to heat it up.... If you really want to see how your food is prepared , go around out behind the building by there garbage cans.. you will see people smoking(employees) then walk rite back in to serve your food.. You are getting ripped.. I dont care that if is busy, its DISGUSTING... Top it off they charge like its fresh food... If you like microwave old food and want to pay triple.. I highly recommend it....

Sidewalk Deli

This was a perfectly nice deli / restaurant but it just didn't blow my skirt up. The atmosphere is very nice, quaint even, and I felt very at home there. My only complaint is that the high ceilings create a bit of an echo. Very difficult to have a conversation when they are busy. Even more so when a member of our group has a little hearing issue. Probabaly overly picky but could be easily remedied with a few acoustic tiles. The service was fantastic. Our server was pleasant, efficient and very knowledgeable when we had questions about various menu items. Great job! The menu is, to say the least, extensive. So many great and unique options. I don't want to give the impression that there was anything wrong with the food. I had an East Ave sandwich and it was perfectly good... I would never complain about it and would happily have it again... But it wasn't anything I would go out of my way to order again. The kettle chips were underwhelming (out of a bag) which is fine because I wasn't tempted to eat them. My companions expressed similar thoughts on their soups, sandwiches and quiche... Good but nothing truly impressive. I will likely be back and try something different and would certainly suggest that you give it a try if you're in the Park Ave neighborhood. You will not leave hungry or be disappointed... Just can't claim it will be a culinary experience that you will never forget.

The waitress was rude, they brought the wrong food out and then used their bare hands to pick up my sandwich and put it on a different plate. When I went to complain about the waitress, she stood at the register making snide comments. I complained to the owner who basically just said "too bad I've never had a complaint about her" then I watched the same waitress antagonize this woman there with her kid. The owner did NOTHING. Then just as I was walking to the counter to pay my bill a rat/mouse went crawling by. I really used to like this place but I can't see myself ever going back.

Sidewalk Deli

2 stars because my first visit was awesome. The place seemed cute and the food I ordered for a take out lunch was really good. So good I wanted to come here with my boyfriend for dinner and dessert because their dessert case looked amazing. This place was good for take out but as a sit down place? Not a huge fan. The pizza we ordered wasn't cooked all the way which was odd since it seemingly took a long time to make and the menu said to expect that because they pride themselves on their thin crispy crust. Thin, yes. Crispy, no. I would use floppy or dough-y to describe what I ate. Then we ordered dessert. Who ever made the cheesecake didn't wait for the cream cheese to come to room temperature because it was very lumpy. And my boyfriends dessert was stale. This subpar food experience paired with the fact that the service was lacking and the stress of finding anywhere in that area to park, makes it so I probably won't make an effort to visit again. At least if I do, I won't be choosing to dine in.

My partner took me on a quick date here and it was pretty good... An ideal place for salads, soups, pizza, dessert, and sandwiches. The salads looked really good here especially the shrimp & Mandarin oranges. We ordered a pizza with fresh basil and cheese and an egg croissant with creamy tomato soup with artichokes & cheese. The eggs were light and very airy/fluffy & the soup was delicious. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for $25 & the strawberry cake was excellent & it came with homemade whipped cream. I'll come back and try the salads next time or a panini.

Loved their Honey Lime Shrimp salad today! My go to is their yummy Signature soup and 1/2 grilled cheese combo, but I'm glad I stepped out and tried something new. Service was great too! Didn't feel rushed through lunch and got to really visit with a friend I hadn't seen in a bit.

This was my first time here. I got the chicken lettuce wraps (on special) and the artichokes french soup (soup of the day). The lettuce wraps had a great peanut sauce but they were otherwise boring. They came with large chunks of cucumber that were awkward to eat rolled in lettuce. The soup was bland but my two lunch-mates loved their food. I tried a caramel pretzel brownie bites and it wasn't my taste either. Server was very nice but the service was slow. Loved the beverage options though.
