This was a perfectly nice deli / restaurant but it just didn't blow my skirt up.
The atmosphere is very nice, quaint even, and I felt very at home there. My only complaint is that the high ceilings create a bit of an echo. Very difficult to have a conversation when they are busy. Even more so when a member of our group has a little hearing issue. Probabaly overly picky but could be easily remedied with a few acoustic tiles.
The service was fantastic. Our server was pleasant, efficient and very knowledgeable when we had questions about various menu items. Great job!
The menu is, to say the least, extensive. So many great and unique options. I don't want to give the impression that there was anything wrong with the food. I had an East Ave sandwich and it was perfectly good... I would never complain about it and would happily have it again... But it wasn't anything I would go out of my way to order again. The kettle chips were underwhelming (out of a bag) which is fine because I wasn't tempted to eat them. My companions expressed similar thoughts on their soups, sandwiches and quiche... Good but nothing truly impressive.
I will likely be back and try something different and would certainly suggest that you give it a try if you're in the Park Ave neighborhood. You will not leave hungry or be disappointed... Just can't claim it will be a culinary experience that you will never forget.
