Went to the Cafe for lunch. Food was good. Overpriced though. Waiter didn't come around as much as we needed, but he was really nice. Overall it was fine. I would go again.

Edit: Rooms are still great, however friendliness of the staff seems to have gone downhill. Also, previously, each room used to have a mini fridge and now they want $20 per night to rent one. Not very happy. Great rooms and friendly staff. Will be staying here again!

I have been coming to stay here since 2011. I lovED it not too bad for the price. This place has a special place in my heart. I go to celebrate important holidays. Anyways the last time I stayed was 1/2/19 I was super happy with the view However! There were COCKROACHES. I went to inform the front desk and they acted as if that was normal and they didn't care. In the end they only took off the casino fee charge but that's not that what made me upset. It was the fact that they lied to me and told me "someone would be up to inspect it in 20min" 2x and the fact that they weren't apologetic at all. Yeah its all about the money but they will loose faithful business and eventually get a bad reputation. A woman that had been staying there for several years was disappointed in the service as well. A lot has changed and its not good.

Worst “spa” experience of all time. We have $150 in gift certificates purchased for Christmas, made an appointment a week ago and they told us we needed to give them credit card info to make an appointment and if we cancelled this appointment we would be charged $150 for the cancellation, even though we already had it all paid for through gift certificates this “spa” provides to customers. So over the weekend it snows four feet in town. We call the morning of, two and a half hours in advance to confirm they are open and that the appointment is still good, in which the guy, Mark I believe his name was, smuggly tells us “Why wouldn’t we be open?” I don’t know Mark, maybe cause schools are closed, the garbage company isn’t picking up trash and half the town is shut down due to four feet of snow. So we dig ourselves out of the driveway drive all the way to the “spa” and a lady at the front desk of the “spa” tells us that our appointment is cancelled because the masseuse couldn’t make it because of the snow. We were forced into this due to the fact that if we cancelled we would be charged money we had already paid for because of the gift certificates. No compensation, no apologies, just asked to reschedule in which case they could try to charge us again if god forbid, we had to cancel. Most unprofessional business experience of my life. If you’re looking for that classic spa treatment of relaxation and peace, I suggest you go anywhere else in the world. It’s more worth your time and money to drive out of town than to have to deal with this nonsense.

Rarely do I ever give out a 5 star rating on the first go around at any restaurant, so when I actually do, folks you want to pay close attention. My wife and I went in to Ciera Steak & Chophouse expecting your typical style steak house. 1st mistake on our part, I felt like I should of gone and changed into a suit, and my wife had only dreamt of being taken to a place so fancy. Steve our server made us feel right at home though. I do not drink but my wife had one of their Merlots and was in love with it. Alejandro, our secondary server helped my wife feel more like she did belong there. First most of the tables there are more like private dining areas with heavy curtains that help muffle any noise, but it's a cool temperature place. We started off with Salads her having the wedge with crumbled cheddar and bacon, I had the grilled avocado salad and for that bit if deliciousness I gave up my peppered vinaigrette dressing recipe. Then our main course was the chataubei for two. Both my wife and I looked at each other and a fully admitted that our favorite steakhouse had been dethroned from their place as number one. For that meal I ended up giving them my Honey Mustard Marinade and my Spicey Honey Marinade the latter having never been given out to anyone ever before. And the price of the excellent service and food was comparable to what we've been charged at Ruby River in Reno. Ciera Steak and Chophouse up at Montbleu at Stateline NV At lake Tahoe is a must go to well worth it. Steve and Alejandro thank you for the excellent service and to the chefs thank you for the perfectly cooked food.
