I was able to visit The Peninsula because of The Silver Lining Foundation's charity event Glitz and Glamour. Very posh and elegant. The Lobby restaurant had great coffee and pastries, young and good looking servers. The banquet hall service was outstanding and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. I'd love to review the spa here, but I'm sure it's out of my price range!

The Peninsula Chicago is THE top of the line. The concierge went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration amazing. They surprised us with a birthday cake and chocolates in the room. Our package included early check in, late check out and complimentary breakfast. The hotel was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and masterfully appointed with high-end electronics, body care products and linens. I could go on and on about how wonderful every aspect of our stay was. Of the 5 star hotels I have stayed in, the Peninsula blows all others out of the water. We WILL be back!

Classy hotel within walking distance of Chicago's attractions The rooms have a great feel to them, ample space, clean decor, nice dark furniture, big open bathroom. Hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar, great cocktails with their spinning glasses, desserts, and bites. The staff are pleasant, and there is always someone ready to spin the doors as you exit. Rooms have coffee and tea, which you can brew when you wake up, they even have some nice China (saucer, cup, and spoon) to drink from. You can walk to plenty of restaurants, shopping or attractions. Great place to stay

The Peninsula is unrivaled in Chicago and surely one of the finest hotels in the world. Everything about The Peninsula is perfect, from the quality of the staff to the magnificently remodeled rooms, it is wonderful. We love the new Z-Bar with its view down Michigan Avenue and out to Lake Michigan.

Place is ELEGANT! So beautifully appointed in every way without being pretentious. Staff is there to serve & they all do it beautifully; with poise & warmth. Went there to get out of the cold & to have a light meal & drinks. The views from many of the restaurants & rooms are breathtaking cityscapes. Highly recommend if you can afford the luxury; because it does come at a price.

Everything Hotely was top notch: Room, Bed, Location, Amenities, Space, Cleanliness, etc. Their service though is truly amazing. Kudos to Max and his team for what they are achieving. Also a big Thank You to Maria for the shoehorn.

I stayed at this hotel in a suite connected to a room and it was fantastic! The service was incredible and the staff was always friendly. We stayed one night and although it was short it was the best experience in a hotel that I had ever had. Throughout the night we got little gifts like sparkling apple cider and at midnight a cake! All which were delivered in the best manners of the staff. In the morning we ate at the buffet and the food was incredible. Even though this is a pricey hotel I would recommend it for anybody on either a special occasion or just as a hotel because it was extraordinary! Thank you Peninsula for making this stay unforgettable.

The Peninsula Chicago provides top-notch hospitality in a beautiful, modern, building. The world-class staff is trained to make every aspect of your experience perfect, and typically, they succeed. It is an excellent location. Room appointments are cutting-edge and chic. The gym, spa, and pool facilities are expansive, and up-to-date. From the gym, and pool, located near the top floors of the building, there are spectacular views over Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile. There are numerous outlets for dining (or drinking), as well as round-the-clock in-room dining. The only downside is that this does come with a $$$$1/2 price. Comparing apples to apples, in the world of luxury hotels, it is a very good value -- you get what you pay for. But, absolutely speaking, if you are on a student budget or looking for a bargain hotel, this is not it.
