If you are in the mood for amazing food, atmosphere and great people and waitress this is the place to go. Ask for andrea she is a amazing person. Never forgets what you drink
A little off the beaten path gem that does a great job with all their menu items. If you're a French dip fan ordering the prime dip is a must. The outdoor deck is great in the summer.
I have stopped at the Sasquatch several times when tripping out to Verdi. Good bar food and good drinks. I however could do without the eye rolling staff. They are there to serve regardless of whatever judgement they are making. I felt as if delivering our food to the patio was a hassle for them. I tip well but this last time almost didn't because of the attitude.
This place is a community gem! It's a small restaurant and bar that serves great food in a great atmosphere. In the winter the fire is roaring and in the summer the patio beautiful. The staff is helpful, fast and friendly.
I'm told this place is owned by the same people who own Flowing Tide, which is a favorite place of mine for pub food in Reno. Outstanding batter-dipped french fries at both places. I made the mistake of ordering a Reuben here on St. Patrick's Day, something not usually on the menu. The corned beef was dry and tough. The place has a fun and funky atmosphere with a huge statue of a Big Foot. It's also more than a little out of the way in Verdi, a place with almost no commercial businesses. There's very limited seating. My dining partner enjoyed her meal, and I know people who go here regularly, so I probably ordered the wrong thing. I'd give it another shot.
Nice little tavern in quaint Verdi. Always draws a large number of customers. The menu has something for just about everyone. If you like fish and chips I highly recommend them. The only complaint I had is the Cole slaw was pretty bland and could have used a bit more vinegar, but that's just me.
