Go there often good looking Casino even though it’s in the middle of nowhere. I fly for free out of Laredo and because I gamble a bit I get invited to go there often. Resorts at Wendover NV it’s very close to Salt Lake Utah and you could rent a car and go visit.
Of the casinos in Wendover I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The new "makeover" is OK. It didn't change/fix the poor parking in the front. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the tub didn't work so paying for a suit was for not.
Games good. Drinks great. However - as I finished playing a machine today and pulled out my phone to check the time, I was immediately surrounded by two employees who asked me to move along. I didn't think I was sketchy but apparently I was taking up space without paying money - and that's not allowed!
Love this hotel and casino!! They have a beautiful suite with hot tub! Great restaurants inside the building. Small cafe for snacks, drinks, and fresh coffee. Highly recommend!
You didn't stay here but I understand the recent Renovations are wonderful. They have done a tremendous job in working to upgrade the outer face of the property and it really looks beautiful. I wish they had a buffet at overall it is a great place for a gaming and always very clean
Tournament Poker in Wendover has gone extremely downhill since they moved the room to Peppermill. They seem to only care about live players anymore. I've driven out there on multiple occasions, (on the weekend no-less) gotten there 40 minutes before their 8:30 tournament starts, and then been put on an alternate list with only ~40 people registered. Clearly they are catering to the live poker players and don't seem to care that we'd driven out 2 hours. We were not given a seat in the tournament so that they can keep as many live tables going a possible. This even happened at the last "Customer Appreciation" tournament with a $350 buy-in, that I had taken a day off work to attend. I didn't get a seat despite being there right after registration opened. So I turned around and drove all the way back to SLC. Not at all what I would call "Customer Appreciation". This event should be renamed to: "Live/Raked Player Appreciation"... :(
