Rideau Carleton Entertainment Centre and Raceway AKA Hard Rock Casino Ottawa.
This is my local and usual go to. It has been closed since March 15, 2020 due to the pandemic. Since the Hard Rock Group takeover and the renovations that had begun, food venue selection was on the upswing and added table games were a plus. Once the planned vision and full renovations are complete, I think it might get another star or two from what I can tell is planned. Can't wait to be able to visit again, whenever that may be.

We went for the Sunday brunch. The food was really good and the service was excellent. That's a buffet style lunch with a view of the racetrack but there were no races this afternoon and I didn't go into the casino area

Casino experience wasn't bad I suppose, 3/5 at best. But the food, extremely disappointing in their selection. Quite a small selection and what they did have wasn't all that good considering the price.

Casino has been updated and looks great. The restaurant has also been updated but didn't meet my expectations seeing as this is going to be a Hard Rock. Also, betting on the horse races was difficult over dinner as you had to go to the desk each time. As I remember it before, they had people come around to take your bets.

Ever since the change to Hard Rock, you can't win here. Probably one of the worst casinos I've been to. You're better off going to Lac Leamy. Save your money. I used to frequent this casino. It's sad that it's become like this. You've definitely lost a loyal customer.
