Rillito Clubhouse

Pima County needs to update this venue. The facility is very run down. I paid to enter club house only to find there were zero seats available. Staff refused to refund club house entry fee. This historic place is crumbling, it's shameful.

Fun place. Surprisingly festive atmosphere. Excellent race announcer named Craig. Top notch mostly due to his expertise in the profession.

Rillito Clubhouse

The horses were beautiful, the cloudy pricing on tables was not. Beer was sour (barrio red) table reservation wasn't accurate, 59 bucks for a table or 25 bucks for a table in the bleacher section for basically nothing. No table service, no toilet paper in the restroom. Horses were nice, though. Go on the cheap and you won't be disappointed by lack of amenities or services.

Large grounds amazing for a all day event...Staff was extremely professional and nice. One more water stand and some more shade would have been better for the heat and sun but besides that the event I attended was a joy Music was perfect my experience was bomb!

The race track is a 501c3 non profit. They have an office for the University of Arizona sports racing program, there's Rillito Park adjacent to it. The food and drink were a little pricey, but they have community food trucks in addition to their own kitchen. It was a fun afternoon and you're up close to the horses and the racing. Betting was easy and there were a number of friendly staff members.
