Cool broadcast and event facilities. I attended a fundraising dinner and a movie there and the staff were very courteous. Also, the crowd was unusually gracious.
WHYY is staffed with friendly, caring, and professional people. They made my time there interesting and fun. It was a pleasure to work with them and I hope to do so again in the near future.
Hi my name is Brandon Pearson my partner Antonio was fired earlier today because he had to leave early from time to time to assist me I am staying home because I am disabled I have seizures and I have a mental disorder. My husband did inform WHYY that if the workload became too heavy taking care of me he would resign however they took it upon themselves to fire him while he was staying home to take care of his sick cousin he was still doing his work he just needed extra time there was a very very heavy. I'm shock only because I know WHYY has better and higher standards. I've been watching this Channel since I was a kid and this is extremely disappointing to think that this is how they handle their employees who have accommodating or hectic work lives and home lives. So night understand now that WHYY does not stand behind the disabled and the mentally disabled I I guess so and I believe it's time to spread the word.
Incredible smart and brilliant team of journalists. We love hearing you! And thanks for letting the children of Philadelphia have such a rare opportunity to try and be journalists themselves. Bravo!
