The building is pretty dated but it's cool. Kitschy. The cafe was good. Great coffee and the staff was very nice. They have some new slot machines mixes in with some antiques. Cute gift shop.

Hotel is VERY dated. Not in a cool hipster kinda way. Lobby smelled like dusty cigarettes. Room is very very tiny. Absolutely no air conditioning. They do provide windows that open to let air in. Was told by front desk when asked about air conditioning. To open the windows and door. So if you want to stay cool in June don't come hete. We will have to keep the windows open all night. And listen to the cars outside.

Kinda run down and old but I guess that's the charm. I had been here a bunch of times to gamble and have drinks for about 20 years but never stayed in a room. Room doesn't had AC, they're small, can get stuffy and only a large box fan to help move around air. Stayed here for a fair price. Place could use some upgrades like new double pane windows, new furniture and updated TV's.

The cabins were small and dirty, we also found a dirty pad in the bathroom and the toilet did not work. The bedframe was broken and a rust metal piece was sticking out from under it. Also, when we tried to call the front desk the phone was not working. The cabins claimed to be smoke free and pet free but the bed and room still smelt like smoke to the point where I had to go outside every so often to get some fresh air because of nausea. And the bed was covered in pet hair and a pee stain on the carpet. Please save your money and just rent a better resort because this was the worst experience I have had in a very long time. Good luck in your search!

The Biltmore is definitely a throwback Hotel, don't expect anything fancy. We had a great time though and would definitely go back. I recommend taking the stairs as the elevator only worked half the time.

The manager is a rude, hateful, unhelpful women, that pretends to be nice, by calling you, "honey." Their customer service is terribly. The lobby is messy, and unloved. The restaurant food, is okay, but not worth their prices. Every room we have been in, has paper thin, and shredded sheets, a strip of fabric lain on the foot of the bed, to portray a folded throw blanket, only 2 pillows per bed (no more), black streaks on the walls everywhere, even the ceiling, burn marks in the carpets, stains on the ironing bored, dirty lamp shades, dirty windows, broken window shades, holy window drapes, deteriorating seals in the shower, dirt smelling soap, and shampoo, dirty sinks, and tiles, lukewarm water, and no customizing heat, to keep you warm. Very few rooms have a microwave, and, or mini fridge. We spent a lot of money at their casino, and they still treated us like a burden, and a peasant. Their manager, is the rudest women you could meet. She is there to help you, but she mealy shoves you off, if you have a problem. We had a room in one of the cabins. It had 0 WiFi, even though your in a CASINO LODGE. I took a bath, with the hottest water pervaded (lukewarm). We got a call the next morning, telling us to get the hell out, because it was 15 minutes past checkout time. I told the women that we had requested another night, she backed off and apologized, slightly. Then I went back for a nap, just to relax, and wake up, but a knock on the door, woke me up. It was house keeping ignoring our "do not disturb sign." They wanted to do their usual routine, but to wake me up, is really pushy! When we left the room, for another, we requested a late check out, as we were waiting for a friend. House keeping knocks on the door, and gets all flustered, repeating 3 times, that the office said we were already out, mind you standard check out time, is 11:00, they were there 10 minutes early. We went to our other room. The heater was a strange bulky box that took up the entire wall, with a blackened nob, with sharpie marked "on," and "off," directions. It wouldn't work, so we huddled under the tissue paper cheep sheets, to stay warm. The phone didn't work in our room, and they didn't even acknowledge our problem. Our heater didn't work, so we asked for a portable heater, and they said they would look with house keeping, but hung up on us, and we never heard from them. We tried to turn up the thermostat, but it's just for show; they regulate your temperature, even if your are about to ketch a cold, in your own room. Every room we have been in has had back streaks on the walls, everywhere, burn marks in the carpets, stains on the ironing bored, dirt smelling soap, and shampoo, dirty sinks, and tiles, lukewarm water, and no customizing heat.

The Tahoe Biltmore hired some great staff lately. I was pleasantly surprised by unmatched hospitality I was given by the wonderful staff. Thea is especially awesome with her ability to handle delicate situations. Thanks so much Biltmore staff!

DO NOT STAY in the cottages at this hotel! I don’t know if the hotel rooms are any better, but the pet friendly room they gave us was AWEFUL and GROSS! There was also a syringe with a broken needle on the shelf in the closet. After letting the water run in the sink for more than 10 minutes there was still no hot water so I didn’t even attempt to take a shower. The stairs to the cabin were half covered in heavy wet snow on one side and ice on the other. The best part, when my husband called the front desk to complain the first reaction by the woman at the front desk was a laugh, like it wasn’t the first time she heard the complaint.....though the laugh could have been partially due to the way he worded the complaint! The only reason I gave one star is because it wouldn’t let me post the review otherwise.
