Went there on vacation loved all those casinos in Black Hawk.

Ameristar is easily one of the best spots in Black Hawk. The casino floor is clean, lively, and has a great mix of slots and tables. Staff is friendly and service is consistently solid. The hotel rooms are surprisingly upscale with comfy beds and great mountain views. Don’t miss the rooftop pool and hot tubs — they’re a standout. Dining is good across the board, especially Timberline Grill.
