Always a fun time. Fridays are "Dollar Nights" which mean the programs are $1 and tall beers are $2. It has real horse racing which is great. Only issue are the betting machines are a gamble. They might take tickets that night, they may only take cash, if you're lucky they'll take both.

Had fun here on a Saturday night. There were 9 races. Start every 20 minutes so the action was fast. They were running a special for $1 popcorn, dogs, and programs. $2 16 oz. Bud, Bud light, and Molson. I am no gambling expert but the people working the windows were helpful and we're friendly dealing with me. You can place $2 minimum bets so you don't have to shell out a ton of money to get in on the action. It was a good time and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do on a weekend.

I read this in Bogota Colombia this morning that the HP Raceway is closed. Sad to see this happen. My friend from Chrysler Financial days, Jan Howard loved this place too.
