This hotel was the best surprise of our trip! Everything about it was great! From making online reservation, check-in, super clean room, very comfortable beds, good restaurant, and finally check out, all top wuality! The staff is what made the difference! Thanks to you all!

Love this place. Stayed twice. This time with our dog in a really nice room. Dog bed and biscuits in the room. So much fun. Great atmosphere, shops, restaurant, and collections. Just wish our drive was shorter to get there. 12 hours from home. Highly recommend The Prospector.

Great little hotel/casino. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was great. Very fresh and modern look. Great bed and linens. Nice big flat screen TV. Margarita's Restaurant located inside serves good food, with a varied menu. We had dinner & breakfast there. I would stay here again.

Very nice place. We brought our dogs and stayed in the dog approved rooms. Very nice! They did a great job on the dog rooms. They made our pets feel welcome.

I feel so fortunate to have found this place. I'm on a grueling road trip to move my elderly mom's things across country. I arrived late and the desk clerk was so kind and welcoming and helpful. Beautiful modern rooms, very clean, and the little special touches, such as the candy on the bed, the wine on the desk, well stocked coffee/tea maker, microwave, 'fridge, and a rubber duckie in the bathtub (true!). All is evidence that the owner and staff take pride in this establishment. They even provided complimentary earplugs just in case, although they weren't needed because the hotel was very quiet and the beds comfortable. I have my well-behaved dog with me. They welcomed her in one of the "pets permitted" room (yes, the same room that I just described above that was modern, clean and had the lovely touches). They even allowed her to sit next to my stool at the slots while I gambled $50 and drank one of their complimentary drinks. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back and I will be sharing this little gem with family and friends.

I stayed overnight at this hotel while on my way to Great Basin National Park. Overall, I was impressed. The staff member at the check-in desk was extremely polite, helpful, and efficient. The room was much nicer than many of the other budget-friendly hotels I've been in. Several room amenities were included that seem to have gone by the wayside including a fridge and microwave. There is a Mexican restaurant on site that has good food at a decent price. It's important to know that smoking is permitted in the casino, which was a drawback for me. That being said, the rooms were odorfree. I would likely recommend this hotel to friends and family if they were traveling through this part of Nevada.

Decent place. Only 4 star due to no elevator and the fact they charge your credit card up front. As a disabled veteran. No elevator is a killer. Please. We like your hotel. Install an elevator. We saw several guests having issues like us.

I love this hotel!! The rooms are beautiful, the restaurant is delicious, and the ladies at the front desk were super nice!! They definitely care about keeping the guest happy and it shows! After my experience with La Quinta in ely I will definitely stay here at the prospector every time!

This was such a wonderful place to stay💕. My dog felt so special getting to the room with the milkbones, and bed. He doesn't even sleep on a dog bed or eat bones, but he did, and he was so happy! You guys are wonderful! I will share!💕💕💕

The people next to my room ruined my stay... the walls are thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors room. I had to listen for 2 hours of a kid screaming and crying.... Also the gym had the A/C broken so it was really uncomfortable working out. Other then that the place is beautiful, friendly staff, and amazing vintage decorations. It would be awesome to have a little gated area for the dogs. 👍🏼
