Sak' N Save 1

Butcher department Saturday June 5 2013 . I requested a rack of T- bone steaks 3/4 inch. The tall big butcher who was on the saw yelled out, " I don't cherry pick." Repeating him self time and time again. I have always been taken care of by the butchers at Sak-N-Save. I personally feel that this person needs to remember that we the costumers are the reason why he is working. The unemployment line may help him remember. His mouth was totally uncalled for because of my request. This was at the Oddie Blvd And Silverada Store.

Sak' N Save 1

We have used Sak 'n Save as our "short distance" store since moving into this area approximately 8 years ago. That simply means instead of jumping in the car and driving the distance to one of the two "Big stores" and dealing with the crowds & long lines for the cheaper prices* especially if it's only for one or a couple of items, we'll shop at Sak 'n Save. But the truth is, the meat and the produce at Sak is of a much higher quality,so we try to get those items here and the rest of everything else at the larger outlets. But the two best things about shopping here is that it's walking distance for people like myself who need the exercise, and the people who work here are very friendly and very professional.Professional in the sense that if someone get's belligerent or obnoxious, the clerks know how to ignore them with a smile and act as if it's no big deal. Why only 4 stars ? Do I have any suggestions ? I don't know who's fault it is, the company where they purchase their goods, a new guy in training, the rotation perhaps overlooked for some reason.....but a few times I have had food that I wasn't too happy with.Especially like the frozen food section... Marie Calendars to be more specific. My wife told me not to mention this but it's a review and maybe whoever is charge of that section will be more careful.Nobody likes to get home and not be able to eat the food or have to bring it back for an exchange. But besides a few times like that...it's a great store to shop in, it really is. I'm happy that we are in walking distance of Sak 'n Save opposed to the way over-priced store that I won't mention. * some of their prices are actually the same or just a few pennies higher.
