The Hickok House is close to town and on the Trolley route, which makes getting around Deadwood a snap. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. While there is no breakfast buffet, there is a restaurant on site and guests receive a discount. We were disappointed that the refrigerator and microwave had been removed from the room, but it was a minor inconvenience. We would stay here again if in the area.

Smaller venue than the big guys that helped give it a more quaint atmosphere. Staff were friendly and courteous. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. On-site restaurant was nice with friendly and attentative staff and a good selection of items. Price was reasonable, especially with the 25% coupon I received at check-in. Motel is just outside of town but within walking distance of the downtown casinos and businesses or you can wait a few minutes to catch the $1/ride trolley that makes the rounds in the area. This was the second stay here for my wife and I. We would not hesitate to book here again.

Located a little off the beaten path its the kind of diner that still serves coffee into old glass cups with matching saucers. The decor is old west and maybe not in the best shape but the food is reliable diner fare and the pies for dessert are always great. I had a fantastic club sandwich and my family had everything from soup to a breakfast platter that is served all day

I have never stayed at the motel, I have eaten quite a few times in the restaurant. It is in Deadwood where I live, which I might to visit every so often and enjoy a meal. The staff is very friendly, the food is very good, and at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just good food, and good friendly service. It is well off Main Street of the downtown area. If you happen to be visiting Deadwood, be sure to stop in and enjoy the food.

Great place to stay. The restaurant connected to it serves delicious food. The local transportation is great and there is a bus stop right in front of the parking lot.

My favorite little diner in the area. Every thing is reasonably priced, even for Deadwood, and the food is comfort-style diner food. Service is quick and kind, responsive and patient. Their green chili haunts my dreams, and their cinnamon and caramel rolls haunt my days.

We stayed at Best Western Deadwood . We discovered a stain on our sheet when we came in late at night and reported it the next morning. The cleaning supervisor was extremely rude to us. We said we wanted to talk with the manager and were given the run around and lies of where the person was. We filed complaint with Best Western and they contacted the meaning Hqrs contacted hotel. The hotel said the stain was fecal and had talked about charging my wife and I for the clean up. We are absolutely livid about this. We believe they said this to cover their track.

Had breakfast and was great. Everything was cooked perfectly. So good we ate there 3 of the 4 days we stayed in Deadwood. Great food and great service. Do yourself a favor and have your breakfast there. You won't be sorry.
