Yes it's a wonderful place to be at, slots, roulette, craps & the restaurant is fine. The hotel rates are about the same as anywhere but they are clean. Yes overall great.

Nice clean rooms. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. The pool was small. Or little guy want impressed. There is a basketball hoop with a couple balls. Pool toys are allowed.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean! Great hospitality and friendly employees. I really didn't care for their gaming machines very few of them and all of the same kind not much variety to gamble. We went to a concert there and it was phenomenal. our rooms were great but the bathroom smell like and have been cleaned and vinegar. Other than that I give it a four-star!

Great venue. Love the architecture & design and how it is true to the old building. Prices of drinks are a little high, but overall, it's a great addition to Deadwood. Sound quality could be improved.

First time in Deadwood SD and was more than pleasantly surprised by the Deadwood Mountain Grand experience. How cool to develop a piece of Deadwood history, formerly the Deadwood Slime plant, into a splendid entertainment venue. We attended a show during the Red Dirt festival in which "Scooter Brown Band" had played...they were great. The staff behind the scenes, Susan and her team, were extremely accommodating and super helpful. I look forward to visiting again the near future and thank you to the Holiday Inn Resort.

We might consider coming back but it was just okay. The key cards were reset for the entire building one evening so everyone had to go and get them reprogrammed. The cafe is supposed to open at 7 a.m. but at 7:15 there was still no signs of life. Their map needs a little more detail - we thought the tequila bar was Santana's. The access to the hotel is a little convoluted and inconvenient. The restaurant food was great.

A very cute town. Holiday Inn Grand Resorr is a great property. Historic charm. Friendly staff. Steve did an outstanding job as valet and bell hop. He gave us a lot of helpful suggestions.

They bring in decent talent but the venue is less than ideal for concerts. Maybe good for banquets and receptions but there's no stadium seating if you aren't up front you'll be looking between heads. They have a screen but they don't have a good camera or lighting so it's blurry anf washed out so not really usable. I was able to enjoy the evening watching Brian Regan but if I wasn't already familiar with his facial expressions and mannerisms much would have been missed.

It's very cool how they turned an old mine into a resort but that is the only thing I liked about this place. The parking garage is horrible. I hate that we had to walk through the casino to get to the hotel. I hate that our rooms had no bathtubs and that breakfast was not included in our stay. I also hate that the rules posted on the wall for the pool aren't the same rules they enforce. I will never stay here again.
