Circus Circus has always been a memorable place for me even as a kid because I would remember watching the free circus shows and playing the games on the above floors. The overall experience of this place has always been great with so much going on and it remains a significant place in the heart of Las Vegas. I've known Circus Circus for many years and it has never disappointed me whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place for visitors/travelers or even those local in Las Vegas.

Very dated casino. Needs a bit of remodeling and updating. It is very busy though and the circus acts are entertaining. Midway games are a good spot for parents to take their younger children to get them used to some casino action via carnival games that give out tickets instead of coins. The pizza place in the casino is always popular and is a good value, the pizza is thin crust new york style but is decent, only downside is that you have to pay for water. Bar on north side of casino is a good spot for video poker, bar tender there is very good at keeping you supplied with drinks while you play twenty five cent video poker.

Really enjoyed the free circus acts and that it has fast food restaurants in the hotel! The pool upstairs is AMAZING with a really nice water slide, bar, hot tub and kids areas with insane views!!! Very cheap and it has great souvenir shops. We really enjoyed our stay. Beware... people are allowed to smoke in the hotel casinos so the lobby will smell like smoke if you have asthma.

We experienced great customer service. The room was nicer than I expected. My boys had lots of fun in the arcade. About half of the games/exhibits/rides seemed to be closed down at any given time... I guess because it's Winter (the week before Christmas). My boys still had fun, so they were not disappointed.

The hotel overall and the room had a decent ambience. There is room service if you're interested. I had gone during the holiday season. Little did I know that the hotel would stand true to its name: it was a circus in there. The hotel was fully booked and there were long queues for checking in, elevators (north of 20 min.) Had a tough time finding parking spot. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds, but we got a room with king bed and an extra mattress. The rooms did not have a refrigerator or microwave. Avoid in peak holiday seasons. Otherwise should be decent, I think.

First off, there's no rewards or discounts for new member sign ups like other casinos. Then their buffet costs more than others with inferior quality. They used the wrong type of rice for their Asian station. Most if not all the food is overcooked. Desserts are either dry or bland. I'm just so disappointed that I wasted around $25 for bites of inedible food offerings. I should went to sunset station sooner as the commercials on the hotel TV suggested. They need help maybe from Gordon Ramsay. I would watch that episode and gladly participate.

Circus Circus sure isn't the casino I remember from my childhood. Back then it was geared more towards family's with children, giving them something to do on the strip. A lot has changed. Throughout the casino there's pictures of women's breasts and the theme is rock N roll. I didn't see any clowns around that's for sure. Now it's not something that bothers me just a long stretch from the "Circus" I remember. And the slots weren't paying out for anyone really. And the ATM charges an $8 fee. No thank you

You get what you pay for. It's definitely worth it--it's clean, pretty comfortable, good food, and lots of stuff to do at the hotel, but parts of it are in need of repair and updating. It is walkable to the main strip in about 15 minutes, or an easy bus ride. I would recommend this place if you're looking to stay on a budget, but distance to the strip and overall appearance detract from the Vegas experience. Edit: I did not intend a negative connotation if it was perceived that way. I have stayed there 2 of my 3 trips to Vegas and would do so again.

My three Grandchildren, ages 4, 7, and 9, are the ones that gave Circus Circus the 5 stars. They loved the suite first, gave a special thanks for the buffet, and finally the water park. On the 21 of June they will experience the theme park. In all, the vacation I was able to afford gave them smiles on top of smiles. I must say that this hotel is family friendly. To all Grandparents, this is the spot to take children under 15.
