Had an incredible time at Flemington during the just completed carnival.
Great atmosphere, wonderful for watching a race and the place is run very professionally.
In the Hill Stand you can watch a race uninterrupted as no patrons are allowed to make their way to the seats once a race has started.
I am from Sydney and attend very few meetings on a Saturday due to the lack of racing manners and protocol of the patrons who wander through to a seat at all times during a race.

The infrastructure is just amazing! Outstanding buildings that connect with an efficient branch of Metro train which enhances the whole racing experience.
Additionally, a beautiful skyline complements the spacious racing field!

Was not a big meeting so plenty of space to wander about. Decent selection of food and drink. The bookmakers inside the main area could be better but that is an issue for the more serious punters!
Good view no matter where you were and there are activities for the kids too to keep them occupied. Entry was cheap too.

A must see for any fan of horse racing in Australia. A good time to visit is late October to early November for the spring racing carnival which includes the Melbourne Cup. Drink Alongside 130,000 screaming fans as the worlds richest staying race is held on the first Tuesday in November. Other big races held on most Saturdays throughout the year.

I have been attending race day's at Flemington for over 5 years now. There is a great variety and staff always go above and beyond. It's an enjoyable day out.

Facilities are great!
The staff are attentive and efficient!
Drink prices are what you'd expect when going out for the Speing Carnival!
Security was very helpful they even walked me to the location of my group when I got left behind at the bar hahah
