East Gippsland Water is hopeless and hurting the broader Gippsland economy. I paid $350 over 2 months ago for a desktop study, whatever that is, for a potential sub division. At that time I was told that it was not a money raising exercise, but I am now I starting to think it was exactly that. Despite numerous requests I have had no response, even though I was promised one in writing a few weeks ago. What EGW doesn't understand is that while its staff gets paid well, tradies rely on them progressing works so the local tradies have income themselves. It appears the staff at EGW just don't care about their customers or the local economy and are not accountable. No wonder East Gippsland's economy is going backwards while Melbourne's is flourishing.
