Wonderful decor of the 1920s. Staff very cordial. Food perfect display but sparse. Refills for coffee. Excellent coffee. Note: construction on the outside of building difficult to know where it is.

A memorable dinner experience at one of Montreal's beloved bistros. Bustling lively atmosphere set in a traditional bistro interior. Service is friendly and attentive, and the food is a solid ten out of ten! Moreover, we ordered a three courses dinner along with wine, and the bill came out quite affordable. Will definitely come back for another great time!

Would like to give 3.5 rating. Service was wonderful, decor pleasant French-bistro style. Families can feel comfortable eating here though it might be a bit pricey. Had appetizers and desserts. Fish soup scrumptious and served with hot bread slices that were crunchy with Parmesan pieces melted on top-yum. Order this and be delighted. Atlantic salmon appetizer with capers was fresh and delectable. Octopus appetizer was very bland and texture was like something that had been frozen and then quickly microwaved. You would never guess this was octopus-disappointing. Lemon custard tart was bursting with lemon flavor, very refreshing. The caramel peach pie with a scoop of ice cream was disappointing- the topping was like a rubbery, dried piece of gelatin. Go here, but ask the server the best dishes to order. We experimented-a mistake. They do some items better than others.

Recpmmend making reservations. Otherwise walk in maybe sit at bar if space is open. Great French cuisine options. Enjoyed the bone marrow and beets salad. Steak with fries was medium rare--perfectly done. I want as impressed with the homemade pasta though. I think it was good but not my taste. There were 5 pcs. Large enough to be filling along with apps. We got the Island for dessert. Loved the meringue and cream. Servers were fast and sort of attentive. Our total bill came to $103 before tips. No drinks. Just a cappuccino. Fun place to try in Montreal!!

Really authentic French food! The vibe, interior decor and waiters, even they way they are dressed, reminds me of a Parisian bistro. The foods are well prepared and seasoned, I loved their food, especially the beef tartar, on point! One of my favourite thing there is their pickle, simply so good, I could finish half that jar by myself! A good selection of wine and other alcohols. It has the perfect pairing for your food for sure! Service is very good, the waiter took time to explain the menu, given that most of it is still in handwritten French.

Always a great experience. Food is great. It's open late and I appreciate that after a show. The waiters know their products and always have a good recommendation for you. It's a classic restaurant. I also think they are ready for a refreshment of the place. A classic restaurant can get renovated with taste keeping is charm.
