Peppermill offers one of the better buffets in Reno, Island Buffet. The dishes are creative, flavorful, and interesting. The quality is mostly good, but not exceptional. The price is high but a nice treat if you want to indulge. The casino is very nice. I'd recommend this casino for dinner or entertainment.

Check in was quick. All the staff from the front desk to housekeeping we're super friendly and hospitable. We were upgraded from a regular king room in the Peppermill Tower to the Tuscany Suite in the Tuscany Tower. The room and bathroom were amazing and very clean. We went to the island buffet which was good since they have unlimited mimosas. Definitely check out Spa Toscana. It is worth it IMO. The pool area can be crowded but usually can find lounge chairs. The casino is as expected however it feels harder to earn comp points per dollar amount. I would definitely go back again.

To begin, I stayed at this location for 8 days. It’s very nice overall. There are plenty of places to eat inside of the hotel yet it’s a hit and miss experience as far as quality of the food. The Island Buffet has the best food in my opinion and worth the price tag (it’s expensive). I stayed in the North tower, my room was very dated and had a weird smell but it was clean. I peeked at a few other rooms in my same hallway and those rooms were huge and appealing to the eye. I guess I picked the short straw on that one. The staff is superb and were very helpful with any questions I had. My favorite part of the hotel, there is a nightclub and it was LIVE. I had a great time at the nightclub and would go back every night if I could. The pool was decent however I wish there was a rule against small children getting in the hot tub as well. Blow up toys, inner tubes, loud screeching and splashing takes away from the goal of relaxing. Overall my experience was nice and I would totally visit again.

Stayed here for a week during a professional event being held on the grounds. Rooms are nice and the AC works good! The pools are great and the staff has been amazing. Be aware of the constant gusting winds in the afternoon especially in the pool area.... Can make for a chilly swim. The casinos have a great variety of games and the restaurants are varied as well. Be prepared to pay 30-40% more than you would in Reno if you're dining on site. There's a bunch of stuff very close in Reno as well but the Peppermill can keep you entertained for awhile on its own! The arcade is great and has stuff for kids of all ages. I got to watch a protest while I was here regarding Jeff sessions but it fizzled out fast.... Come check it out!

My husband and I went for a 3day/2night stay booked on a special coupon we had purchased. My husband forgot the coupon (which they must have) at home. We were able to have our son send a picture, so they let us check in and even upgraded us to a beautiful suite with spa, so long as we mailed the coupon upon our return. Guests services was wonderful to give such awesome customer service to us even though we didn't have coupon. The resort is lovely. The pool area super nice. The entire facility is well maintained and very clean. Highly recommended

We were a party of 9 on a busy Monday evening. The staff was attentive and the food was worth the price of admission and more. They have someone who knows how to prepare some of the best Chile rellenos, chicken and beef enchiladas any of us have ever had; the prime rib, ham and most everything from the Asian, seafood, salad bar and desserts were quite good. The rain forest no longer sounds off, mists the diners as it once did , but the food is good with nice variety. It's hard to surpass for $25 per, try it, especially if you enjoy Mexican food. The largely Hispanic staff are very friendly, professional, attentive and they have someone preparing 5 star authentic Mexican entrees.

I had an AMAZING stay! The price was actually cheaper than other lower quality hotels! Although there is not a free breakfast so we ate at the Island buffet one time which was expensive but was definitely worth it! Although the rest of the time we just had bagels that we bought. I was attending for a motorcycle event and the parking was very secure! The rooms were comfortable but they did not have a microwave. Other than that the stay was definitely a 5 star one!

My family went for a graduation gala for our daughters school. This would have been a wonderful gala had it gone right. The DJ they provided would play things scheduled songs and videos out of order, or in whatever order he pleased it felt like. The salad and pasta was fine, but I couldn't find a single piece of chicken that wasn't raw. Very disappointed. This casino used to be a favorite of ours but now we hardly see ourselves going back.

Very, very nice property. I remember when they refurbished the property, and it has really found its place in the Reno local entertainment scene. Great rooms, great staff, top notch poker room. The rates for hotel are extremely affordable, and locals discount only makes it better. I am a local poker player, and I can say that this is one of the nicer rooms in the area, if not the best. If you are in town for gambling, or just looking for a nice hotel to bed down in, definitely make this property a priority on your places to stay in Reno. And no, I was not offered anything to put up a good review.

The suites were very nice and we'll equipped. We had to have the air filter in our room changed due to the smoke smell. But the new filter helped. Great whirlpool tub and giant walk in shower were a plus. The sitting area was perfect for enjoying breakfast in our room. The large suite was equipped with a full dinning table, living room, and pool table for entertaining. Plenty of food options to choose from on the property and the gym/fitness room had a lot of machines in addition to free weights.
