Went on July 1, it was busy! They were handing out some sort of promotion cards, but I heard it was just during specific times to whomever the staff decided should get one on the floor. I was didsappointed by that. It was Canada day, why not use that day and all the clients to keep them there? This casino is ok, but I haven't won anything big in years and I go often enough that you think I would have. I go do go for fun, so if that's your goal, the enjoy!

Excellent service in all departments. There are live tables with many games to choose from. Parking is abundant with easy access for all. Great experience being our first time.

I enjoy coming to the Casino anytime of the day. I have always been treated welcoming and with a nice helpful attitude by any staff here. Many different ways to play and win here. Walking around to explore games is fun too. Learning a game, playing a favorite, trying a new unfamiliar game or a quick stop in and I am good to go win or lose. Refreshments whenever you please and great food. Staff here are great and always acknowledge you, treat you well and even say goodbye. I enjoy my visits here all the time

Went for the buffet pasta special. The server's were excellent but the buffet had problems with bringing out the different dishes. They had lasagna but ran out and the wait time was extensive. The same problem with the garlic bread. Then they had pasta but no sauce .

I guess it a sign of the times, going out to a casino has lost its appeal.
When I go to this Casino I expect to lose my planned amount of cash for the night...I would be there for hours , enjoying my night out..
But now it just feels like I have been ripped off....I dropped $300 tonight, was there about an hour, not once a bonus round...I even had to go find the pop machine to get a drink...most of the staff looks like they hate their jobs...all around not fun...ripped off...they need to have someone at the entrance given out a kisses, because they are screwing people.....For me it's the last time I will ever go to this dump.

As a key element of nanaimo downtown core the Casino is a great place to try your odds at a good number of slot machines and tables. The Casino is right next to Port Place Mall and the in Nanaimo downtown core. I myself remain ahead of the house on my occasional bet which is never more than a $20 buy in/24hr.
I of course rarely gamble and will always keep in mind that the odds say, I WILL lose my money, yet one cannot also discount chaos theory...So, Good luck! Of that's your believe. I personally, for the most part , prefer to donate my occasional monetary windfall towards social illnesses such as Tobacco and Liquor...which also line the pockets of greedy, fat capitalist fascists...However I know I am also at least going to have a nasty cough and a bad hangover to show for my money spent. 😜
