The service was floundering. I asked for water multiple times and didn't get it refilled until the third time I asked. The waiter also forgot to refill my soda when I asked, and forgot about the mojito we ordered until we were nearly done with our meal. The food was delicious -- we got the sea bass and miso, and the taquitos -- but way overpriced and the portions were tiny. On the pricier end (~$30-40/person), and you will not likely not be full unless you order a lot of food.

I forgot my wallet with money inside it my credit cards and all my documents I rushed back to the Restaurant to find that they had picked it up. The guys were really honest and the restaurant manager was very polite, I offer some money for having kept my wallet safe but they refused it... I was really happy with the service, not to mention food is great!

If you like sushi with a Peruvian and Brazilian twist, then, you will love this place, they do a totally nicely fusion. Very fresh sushi with an excellent taste, but the service was very poor, I was about to ask another bottle of sake and suddenly I found the bill on my table... If you want to take someone out for a special Miami's late night (dinner/cocktails) and hear some great and loud house music, then, this is the right place for you. The prices are very reasonable for the South Beach trendy area. Try to ask everything you want in just one order, otherwise you are going to wait a lot of time to get your meal on your table

Folks, we just went to Sushi Samba on Lincoln Road to celebrate my birthday. Frank, Ben (our Great Dane) and I. Our server was amazing, her name is Yvonne. I asked if we could go inside the restaurant with Ben,but she said no restaurant's rules. But she said, I can find you a cool place where Ben won't be uncomfortable and will be able to relax while you eat. Well Yvonne did just that and she kept on bringing Ben fresh cold water in a platter. She was amazing....Ben slobbers, the heat is unbearable, and she took care of us with the most wonderful smile. Thank you Yvonne for your kindness and your love for dogs. I know that Ben is not easy due to his size but you had no issue with him. And by the way, the food was excellent, recommend it to anyone. We had rock shrimp tempura, taquitos, and tuna tataki like I have never had before. If Frank approved it, it is because it was delicious. the rest of the staff was also excellent and they were not intimidated by the size of our dog, on the contrary, he was the attraction in Lincoln Road this afternoon. Thank you guys for an amazing birthday.

THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT, THIS IS A CULINARY EXPERIENCE. If you are not open minded, if you are grossed out easily by strange and unusual foods, do not come here. This is not for the people that think Red Lobster is a fine night out. My husband and I came here for a romantic dinner. The service is so personal, your name is written on the menu. Yes, you get your own menu with your name on it. The dinner takes approximately 3-4 hours. There are a total of about 13 dishes, and they come out slowly. This is a social dinner. Put your phones away (unless you're taking pictures of the food) and talk to your friends. Trust me, there will be a lot to talk about during dinner. Last note: this place is a little difficult to find. When you make your reservation, via Opentable only, a lady will call you to confirm and give you some basic directions. If you think you're lost, you're not. You're in the right place. What amazes me about this place is that this place is all about the food and personal service. There's no fancy decor and super expensive chandelier, no, mam, no mam. You are eating food so amazing and so beautiful, you think you're eating at.

I don't particularly care for mass chain restaurants but I have tried Sushi Samba in both Chicago and in Miami. I felt as though you get a standard chain experience. There's nothing really outstanding about this place and I don't find that adding the "Peruvian fusion" benefited them greatly. The decor is Miami-style modern, but nothing very special. It is very lively and especially busy during summer nights, which I loved. But beware that waiting time, even with a reservation will be quite long. The sushi was good, don't get me wrong. However, I can't honestly say that there was anything exceptional about it. We ordered copious amounts of sushi, sashimi and nearly every dessert on the menu just to try for variety. Everything was very fresh and plated nicely, but it just lacked creativity and originality. Their Samba Dromo (lobster, chives, curry, mango and tomato) and Ebisu San (shrimp, crab, coconut and chili) were among the ones we really enjoyed. The dessert variety was wonderful. Definitely try the tropical tapioca and their mochi. Samba might be better suited for the individual that hasn't ever tried sushi or maybe tempted to after all, order a hot entree (which they have many). But for the sushi connoisseur, this is one you can bypass.
