When my flight was cancelled, TUI arranged accommodation here for all passengers. Beautiful city hotel. Staff coped wonderfully with so many people arriving at night with little notice. We all had something to eat and drink, and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, great selection. Couldn't ask for more. The pool area is also lovely. Children were even given baseball hat's as souvenirs. The staff also were lovely.
I was only here as a result if a cancelled flight, but if your flight is cancelled and you have to stay another day in Tenerife, then you certainly won't mind if they put you up here! Deserves the 5 stars! Thanks to TUI and Iberostar Grand Mency!

The hotel is probably okay, but the casino in their basement is a joke. The poker dealers and staff don't even know the basic rules of the game. They stole 90 euros from me based on an imaginary rule.

As always a joy to visit. Classy in every way, and from a great location. Nice breakfast 0700-1100 with Zümex orange press and Nespresso. Helpful and friendly staff. Will come back!

Scenery in and around the hotel is unbelievable, indoor and outdoor pool, outdoor gym, restaurant very nice and bar has great service.
Rooms absolutely 5 star quality.
In very good place restaurants, bars, coffee shops and clothes shops all in very close proximity.
20minutes from airport very good location.
Highly recommended 5 star quality.

The Mencey is located in a beautiful old building and has beautiful grounds. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with North American (i.e. thick) mattresses. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever enjoyed with something to please every diet. Hotel is located near several places to eat and a very nice park, perfect for an evening stroll, as so many of the locals enjoy it too. Definitely a hotel worth considering if you are in town.

My opinion is only about the spa.
Beautiful, relaxing and clean. We paid 18€/person for entrance.
Friendly staff.
The only complaint that they suddenly removed water and fruit when we were still there (just after 9 pm) and there was some kind of tension that we need to hurry.

Great location. Staff fluent in various languages. I've read other reviews and am surprised. The rooms (junior suite) big, comfortable, WiFi is good. Various restaurants, we only had breakfast and it was excellent. If I go back to Santa Cruz I will stay there again.

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel at which to start a honeymoon. Great pool, spa on site was amazing, and the breakfast was second to none. I dream about that breakfast.
