Lots of slots, poker, table games, decent environment, security a little over bearing at times, I heard a male security worker enter and ask a woman if she was okay in the restroom because she had been in there quite a while. I was in another stall but I could only think damn are they clocking people using the restroom now. I'm sure they had their reasons but it seemed to be a bit much. I have one more than I've lost so far so I guess that's a plus but the last couple of times it's been on the downhill but that's just how things go. They do offer monthly free slot play so far that I've experienced. Not much but enough to draw you in like it's designed to do. They play pretty good music most of the time. They have a high roller room but I've never been in it haha it is for active players only so no spectators allowed. They have several restaurants and Starbucks is open 24/7 which I love, nothing like a warm Danish and a caramel macchiato at 2:00 a.m. LOL There is a massive amount of parking available, garden by Portsmouth Police at night and lots of cameras, the ATMs charge $5.99 per withdrawal but Royal farms is right across the street if you want to avoid the fees or Wawa around the corner so get your cash before you come in unless you want to pay $6. Winnings are tax free unless you hit for $1,200 or over and if you do security is available to escort you to your car if you desire.

Rivers Casino Portsmouth, Va. Is a great Casino to visit. So far I have had great experiences and really no complaints. I really haven't won big YET! However , I feel like it is gonna happen. The bands have been pretty good. They have give aways for certain card holders. Great atmosphere. Security seems to always be intact. Good environment so far. Just can't wait for my big WINS. They had a big dinner for some of the card holders and free play was awarded. That was a very nice well put together evening of fun.

Live entertainment was not good. Sounded like band practice.
Drinks are overpriced $8 beer
Large pizza $45
Facility is new so floor and machines were clean
