Palm Court Cafe

This review applies to the buffet only. The casino was fun even if the payouts seemed low. With high expectations after seeing reviews we were horribly disappointed. The line moved fairly quickly but it still took us almost an hour to be seated. Most casinos have at least triple the seating. The place was filthy in the seating areas. Fluid spilled on floor went untouched, and we didn't dare touch any horizontal service after the first one was so sticky I almost didn't get my hand back. The table staff never checked back with us, I had to go hunt somebody down to get my ice tea refilled. Anything fried had so much breading on it you couldn't find the food inside. The crab legs were mostly empty, the steamed shrimp were overdone repeatedly, and other offerings were minimal. The beef was OK, and the deserts were good. The cook staff was friendly and attentive but I wish I hadn't tipped the waitress at time of purchase. I guess she figured she got hers so the heck with us. The only person on the floor doing their job was a young man busing tables, I thanked him and tipped him. He never stopped working the whole time we were there. I can not understand that they were ever voted the best in MS with all of the great buffets in Biloxi. Stay away.

It was a nice experience. The slots attendants are super friend. The other employees were friendly as well. The slots paid out, but not much. The atmosphere is so relaxing and fun but I must warning you. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke this isn't the place for you. The smoke smell is very strong, you will notice this when you leave to go get into your car. Your clothes will reek! Your hair your whole body. Other than that it was nice.

Silver Slipper Casino was a nice stop during travel. If you are new to signing up for their Players Club, they offer you a complimentary night in their RV park, about a 1/4 mile down the road. There are 2 lines of 12 spots for a total of 24 sites with full hookups. I tried their Jubilee Buffet which was pretty decent. They had a nice seafood selection including Dungeness crabs, small stone crabs and shrimp. With your Players card, you can get a 50% off Mon-Wed, making to $15 instead of $30. Many digital games and some card games. Playing floor and game areas were clean, staff was nice and helpful. Hope to stop here again in the future.

Palm Court Cafe

We enjoyed our time here. We came here 4 or 5 times during our stay in the area & even rented a room one of the evenings. Our group met here for Easter brunch. Everyone enjoyed it. The jazz band was a nice touch. They have free drinks while you play they tasted watered down & syrupy. The room was nice enough. Comfortable bed, nice view, nothing fancy. No microwave, mini fridge, or tub. There is a menu for the 24 hour restaurant which I appreciated. Weird parking. You have to haul your luggage through the casino to get to the hotel. Loved the 24 hour pool & hot tub. Plenty of large fluffy towels. Beach area is okay. Seems tar balls are still washing up here. It was lovely for viewing the moonlight reflecting on the Bay. Employees were all friendly & most had a warm smile.
