Food is good as well as service.
If you go Friday night for crablegs and
prime rib. Be prepared to wait. The crabs are ok you can get them hot or cold. The peel and shrimp is decent
The smoked salmon is good. Servers are attentive and very friendly. Also lunch is decent and not expensive.
Average. Honestly wasn't that impressed. Not motivated to give more than 2 stars. I felt like I spent too much. No crab legs. Nothing I can say was super. When i ended up eating average spaghetti I regretted eating there. Sorry rampart but much improvement is needed to get my dollars again
Prime Rib and Shrimp scampi Tuesday!! One of our favorite places. Fast service and plenty of foods and desserts options. Last night, the meat was tender and juicy, and the shrimps' size mixed with the scampi was large!! In fact, I highly recommend this place for any day of the week.
It's been a long time since I have eaten at the Rampart buffet, in fact I don't think it was even the Rampart then. The whole property is nice, parking is plentiful, but a little inconvenient in my mind. Valet is probably the best bet here, at least it's free unlike the greedy strip casinos!
So the buffet is good for what it has. It's a little small and hence a somewhat limited selection, unlike it's neighbor, the Sun Coast. Food quality was consistent and good, not excellent, but good. I was there early, so no lines, I can't speak to later in the evening. Overall, we had a coupon, so it was free, and it's hard to beat a free meal!
Good fresh food and nice coffee/hot chocolate bar. Good selection to choose from even if it is not as big as some of the other hotel buffets. I think the food is, for the most, part better quality than many others. They have made the Sports Lounge really nice so you can see some of the different sports events from the buffet at certain tables. Service is friendly and of course, in a nice, away from the hustle and grind of downtown and the Strip. Mostly locals but very comfortable and clean.
