My family and I came to the Silverado for their crab leg and prime rib buffet. The crab legs were over cooked, but large and plentiful. I wish the prime rib was a little more rare, but it was still quite good. Any of the other dishes were only just ok, but we really only cared about the prime rib and crab legs. That alone made it a 4 star experience.

The hotel is very lovely and situated right on the main street so it's totally convenient if you're looking to eat or shop. The rooms are quite old, as you'd expect, but they're clean and comfortable. The whole town is beautiful and full of history, I would totally recommend stopping by.

The Silverado has a great buffet that we go to. They have crab and prime rib with a lot of other delicious choices. The cakes and pies are wonderful and they have real whipped cream for them. The salad bar has many nice things to choose from. We highly recommend that you check it out!

Quick stop to drop $20 and have some fun. The dealers are good and the games are easy to navigate. The floor staff could be a little warmer on the personalities with this being a tourist town and all. We had fun, that is all that really matters at the end of the day.

We were celebrating a birthday. Requested a table for 9 at the buffet. They said it wasn't possible. We would have to sit at 2 tables. Not acceptable! So we left. Steak house across the street had no problem accommodating us.

Are you looking for a cool old historic building with lots of character and cheap prices? This is definitely it! Are you looking for a place that has clean rooms, comfortable beds and hot water? This is definitely not for you. 10/10 would stay here again because I've paid more for worse.

Ok, the casino is sharp and they give high marks to the restaurant there as it was featured on some tv show but I can't vouch for that. What I can say is the multi millionaire owner is to damn cheap to fix up the hotel part of his casino. Old Detroit apartments are in better condition than this place. The casino is gorgeous... the up stairs is so run down I expected to see vagrants lining the hallway. Must see to appreciate what I'm writing here, so I'll post a few pics. I wish I had taken pics of the hallways, very ghetto. The furniture was old, old, old and the isn't fresh paint anywhere.

Historic and it feels like your back in old time west. Took forever for a drink while gambling. Had the best luck there of all the casinos. The steak house was so so for the price. Got escargot and they didn't come with the shell and had cheese on them which wasn't something I would pair with escargot. I come from a bigger city so maybe I'm spoiled with food. The buffet across the street was alot better and if you rack up enough points on your players card you get it for free. I would say the best food was at the gold dust.

Great game selection. The cocktail service can leave a little to be desired depending on the night but overall, one of the best casinos downtown. Legends steak House is also one of the top places to eat
