Ironwood Steakhouse

First time I had dinner here it was quite the success. My dish and my date's dish were expertly done. A few months later I returned by myself and had the bone in ribeye (tomahawk) steak. It was absolutely delicious and cooked medium just as I like it. For the side I had a peculiar request for the chef which he did without any hesitation. Although it was something off the menu; it was still incredibly savory. I'll certainly be returning soon and uploading pictures for others.

Ironwood Steakhouse

WE HAVE HAD DINNER 3 TIMES AT IRONWOOD. STEAK WAS VERY TENDER, SALAD PLATE WAS DELICIOUS AND COLORFUL, GREAT FOR 2, SOUP WAS ORDERED OF THE PACKAGE (20.00 ) WHICH WAS CREAMED CORN SEAFOOD CHOWDER. IT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY MEAL. MOST DELICIOUS CHOWDER I'VE HAD, BESIDE FINE DINING ON CRUISES. CHEF IS AN EXCELLENT COOK. TRY IT. MENU MAY CHANGE OFTEN , I DON'T KNOW. BUT WE GO TO QUECHAN FOR THE DINNER THERE AND TO PLAY OF COURSE. WE ENJOY THE POOL ALSO. RELAXING TIME AWAY FROM HOME FOR 1 NITE.

Ironwood Steakhouse

Not my favorite casino steakhouse. A few things I noted based on other casino steakhouses in Reno & San Diego. Our first time here at the Ironwood. The lowest tier level does not get any discount. Even a 5-10% discount would be ok. The green beans were underwhelming in that they were very plain Jane. I was able to use the bacon from our baked potato and the butter to liven it up. The almonds should be used to cook with the green beans not just thrown on top as it is served. The 16oz. Bone-In Ribeye steak was not bad, but not worth $42 as it would be the correct price if it was seasoned better and possibly a better cut. The steakhouse on a whole was very bland. Other steakhouses go above and beyond with very small pre-meal samples and or truffle or equivalent after meal delight. The dessert menu was a sort of Denny's esq type selection. Table side bananas Foster or cherries jubalee could spice the menu up a bit. Being that it was Easter there should have also been an Easter menu or special/traditional ham dinner of sorts. They barely acknowledge it was Easter Sunday. There may have been a balloon a waitress drew a bunny on and egg balloon. Service was good, could use some polishing (4 of 5 stars) I think this could be a great steakhouse someday.
