Used to be great, but on my last visit, all of the steaks were severely overcooked (medium-rare was more like well-done), and at the end of the visit, we were given the incorrect bill. Wasn't impressed for the price.

Kobe Restaurant - WOW! From the first point of contact to the last, everyone and everything in relation to the booking, seating, additional requests, and follow up calls were simply wonderful! The staff, the service, and of course the food, absolutely everything was outstanding! Staffs always had a smile, were extremely helpful and professional at all times! Every meal served was hot, delicious and perfectly presented! On behalf of all eight of us, I wish to thank all the Staffs, including the Chefs for contributing to making my daughters 21st a very memorable and fantastic success! We will be back! Thank you! :)

The table service, food, drinks, atmosphere and over all presentation was faultless.
Every course arrived rather promptly and cooked to perfection. Every second was thoroughly enjoyed and we will be returning to Kobè in the near future.

Kobe is a fantastic steakhouse dining experience in Townsville but do expect to spend about $55+ per person for a good feed.
The overall experience Kobe offers has a very high class feel with the great servers and drinks staff making sure everything that you want is available and the smaller restaurant size and mood lighting adds to the feel. There was a good amount of choices on the menu and an expansive drinks selection which caters for everyone
