On Sunday 12/9 I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday since we’ve previously come here and enjoyed the food but unfortunately this time was unforgettable. My boyfriend ordered the 18 oz. 30 day Aged Ribeye steak MEDIUM WELL and came out MEDIUM more RARE in some pieces of the steak. Very politely we informed our server Alyssa (who was absolutely amazing by the way!) and she no problem with removing the plate and informing the kitchen. When returned the plate was hot but the steak still remained uncooked in the middle and burnt on the outside like it was microwaved. I understand things happen from previous restaurant experience, except my boyfriend remained very upset. I called just a few moments ago and explained my situation to Ruth who nicely informed me to hold as she will get the manager. I spoke to Tony the manager where he explained that the kitchen does not have a grill and all the steaks are made in a broiler or some type of oven. I honestly DO NOT believe this is true. We ordered Grilled Asparagus and it did NOT taste this way. None of the other guests plates in our reservation steaks tasted the way his did. The way the issue was handled by Tony was highly unprofessional, very upsetting, as well as his tone was too. I will not be returning after this.
