Located in the Gulfstream Park West racing complex. The casino is great. Hope that they open a poker room there. That would make it perfect.

Calder is a nice smaller level casino. There are no live table games just a few electronic versions of them. They have a good amount of slots and video poker. They do not offer free alcohol drinks with beers at $4.50 outside of happy hour. I don't recommend the buffet. I have not tried the abundant snack bar. Good luck!

Far to go the buffet is to high for the quality of food they serve. Jackpots are rare but its clean they have a great variety of machines but you lose a lot there to buy there free play helps you play for more than a few minutes. The staff are great but there promotions are lacking. They have no hot seat or any hourly promotions except on the weekends. One time I won one of there promotions and they brought me a tshirt lmao all the money I spent. Anyway if your up for the drive it's good for a few minutes out or a good night depending on how the machines go.

We go there for the buffet. Which is really superb. You never know what will be the theme of the day/week prime rib, jerk style, Italian, fish/shrimp. They have lovely soups, the staff are wonderful pulling plates away from your table. The salad greens, salad treats and several dressings to start. When finished they have soft chocolate and vanilla ice cream with many toppings to add. There are an array of pies cakes and toppings Yum.

I love, love, love this casino! One of my favs in the South Florida area. Comps are good, events are good, slots do pay and free unlimited soft drinks and water beverages. The buffet is O.K. the service is extremely pleasant in all areas even in security. The could use more lights in the parking area and a section with more self handicap parking. Overall, great experience!
