Avoid the poolside Tropicana if you're vegan. Took the precaution to call ahead to ask about vegan options. Was assured they could modify a number of dishes to accommodate. The only option was the falafel. They forgot to bring the promised sauces. Had to send the dish back. Was eventually brought a plate of steamed veggies. They forgot to bring a sauce, again. Although apologetic, got the feeling that the staff felt inconvenienced. Won't be going back. The poolside is a pleasant spot, with sun and shade options and hotel guests on recliners nearby.

The atmosphere is as ornate and classy as the veneer it represents. The service, food, and accommodations are all fantastic, and its location is superb. Rooted in the heart of Hollywood, you can walk to most destinations like the Hollywood walk of fame or the Mann Chinese theater. I would highly recommend everything about this place.

We were only the overnight so we didn't get to experience all thatthe Roosevelt had to offer but we had an amazing stay and want to stay again... without the kids! It was so classy in the Old School way and the bed is my favorite of any I have slept in! Highly recommended, even though we didn't get to have any ghost experiences;) The staff 's hospitality was also top notch!

The lobby is beautiful. Decent amount of seating, so finding a place to sit wasn't an issue. Drinks and food were definitely on the pricey side, but tasted good. I would go again for the ambience, but would probably just have drinks next time. Good for a quick visit before seeing a show in Hollywood.

If you like Times Square then this is the place for you. It has really nice rooms. Great staff, and service, and the restaurant 25 degrees was great. In the early morning the streets outside are very empty, but by 10:30 it’s like times square. The location is close to many hikes like Runyon cannon. It’s close to universal studios, and a few drug stores and shops so you’re Never bored. But if you have kids, the pool is not where you would go. The pool is like spring break. Overall, as my first time in L.A, I was pleased. The rooms were clean, and nice so I liked it. For anyone who loves Large crowds, this hotel it the place for you.
