A must see at least once. Came in day time. Probably not a good idea for night time with family/ kids. Looked for a few names in particular. Found roadside parking for $2 an hour. Lots of vendors yelling out sight seeing tours. Ask around B4 u buy. They are all over the entire street (3 hour tours). Rushed around for 2 hours and hurried back before parking meter expired.

Get ready for a long walk and I mean longgg. Wear comfortable shoes, and grab sunglasses if you’re walking in the daytime. If you come in from Sunset and Vine you won’t catch anyone from this generation of famous people that’s for sure. But there’s a star dedicated to Victoria’s Secret Angels in front of the Dolby theatre ( I wonder why). Walk along the front of Madam Tussaud’s for more sightings of famous Stars on the walk. Beware of fellow tourists and vendors trying to sell you just about anything.

Very popular place, especially for young people. But is not as wonderful as it seems in the movies. People smoking marihuana, some business owners very rude. My 5 year old could not used the restroom if we didn't buy anything from the restaurant, ridiculous heartless people.

Unfortunately more cheap souvenir shops than historic buildings but you can snap a great photo of the Hollywood sign from the walkway in the shopping mall. Also there is the Capital Records building, Roosevelt Hotel with its art deco interior and of course famous cement inprints outside Changs Theatre.

Amazing walk. One of the most famous walks in the world. Should be on everyone's bucket list. The only problem were those costume characters and a bunch of guys trying to pawn their rap CDs.

Walk was fine, but it's not as glamorous as people say. Plus, there's no bathroom. Even the shops and restaurants wouldn't let and drinkung. customers use their bathrooms. You'll have a hard time after eatin

One of the best place to visit in Los Angels CA. Hard to find parking , Beautiful Restaurants, Shops & lot of junk peoples . Be careful when you visiting this place, crazy peoples & lots of purse snatchers.

It is a bit disappointing and over hyped.. i was expecting a lot of things happening at this place.. yes but here you will find the crowd to be really enthusiastic n live.. it's a party place. So if you are a party person, you will enjoy it over here as there are many pubs. Oh yes you have to carry your id, otherwise they won't allow you inside.
