We were on the Celebrity Edge for a Christmas/birthday cruise. Loved the ship - beautiful- wonderful crew. We enjoyed the Cosmopolitan & Cyprus restaurants the best. A lot of dance shows and outside activities were canceled due to weather/Ship rocking-for the safety of the performers .Most cruises we go on if it’s your birthday they acknowledge it in someway for example a small cake or maybe five dollars or $10 free slot play one time a spa coupon etc however this cruise did nothing but (the slot machine when you tapped your card did say Happy Birthday for a second) Everyone I talked with agreed the slots were not paying at all & by the end of the week I no longer felt like playing because there was no winnings not even a little. You tapped your card to log in an it would turn green but several times I noticed itin the middle of playing it was red - so I guess I wasn’t getting points for my play? The craps table and a couple of card tables closed after the 2nd day - due to no dealers (covid quarantine.) Over all the cruise was nice but I may want to reconsider cruising on it again due the slots.
